If teachers want to be paid like professionals let them be treated like professionals not like laborers. Require them to have REAL educations just like professionals. Not the watered down, low IQ crap that attracts the lowest SAT scores in the university system.

So by that you are saying the consevatives sat out (which I agree with)...so Obama gets elected....so conservatives that sat out have no one to blame but themselves for Obama’s election. Sounds fair to me.....those pesky conservatives showed ‘em...didn’t they.
Kinda like a rednecks last words...hey y’all watch this...

Mort is just another liberal with no real convictions. a mere opportunist and snob.
Let him and his cowardly ilk run around thinking that the liberals in DC like him, while they snicker behind his back.
Mort the appeaser...what a whimp.

The first step would be to quit letting Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham set its agenda. In what way has the GOP listened to any of these people??? I wish!

conservatives who sat out the election are to blame. However, we are all to blame if we didn't do everything we could during the primaries to help get true conservative the nomination. Likewise if we didn't do all we could to get McCain (lesser of two evils) elected, then we can't blame anyone but ourselves...
Conservatism is about individual responsibility. To go around blaming McCain or others who didn't vote is not taking personal responsibility...let's all step up to the plate and do everything we can to change our country for the better...don't just vote conservative, fight for conservatism...donate and campaign, speak out and changes minds!

His wife died in 2004. Did he get remarried?

Whatever kondracula (aka skeletor) says to do... do the absolute opposite thing! If juan had listened to Rush, he would have won... but he was "juan the defeated" from day one. The ONLY thing he did correctly was choosing Palin.

He’s not a “RINO” but a Democrat.

Ignoring Rush will prove foolhearty at best grasshopper. He taught me many things. Such as: When writing, how many ideas spring from ideas that have not bubbled up into your tarpit conciousness yet; What spin is(1993); and why lobster is cheapest in Las Vegas(although I forget now). And many other things. Well done Wellington . . .well done.

Why doesn’t he say what he really means: the first step to the Republican Recovery is to become Democrats...

Had the Republicans actually run a candidate this year, he might have won. Unfortunately the only choice was a liberal democrat or a moderate democrat.

First step is to ignore Kondrake whatever he says about political advice. And for good measure, throw in the Frumster, David Brookes and Fred Barnes.

Hey, Mort, you're about as relevant to modern politics as Widdle Denny Kucinich. Now quit sucking on that exhaust pipe, open the window, and get back to your IBM Selectric, you Carter-era twit.

ROTFLMAO =ROLLING ON THE FLOOR, LAUGHING MY A$$ OFF
As for my tag line, read 1 Samuel 17:1-11; 1 Samuel 17:41-50 I am simply comparing David to Sarah because Sarah is but one brave conservative on the liberal McCain ticket who took on the so called "all powerful" Obama and his liberal democrat cronies. If it wasn't for her as it was for David, McCain would have lost all 50 states. So, I consider her similar to David in the way she attacked the left in such a blow that they lost their landslide prediction.
