How about not doing an interview in front of that particular spot? How about not doing an interview right in front of a turkey killer (or whatever the hell that thing is called) right after pardoning a turkey? Maybe do the interview, oh I don’t know, any place else that has a different backdrop. Just throwing it out there.

As to the video, some apparently don't quite understand the political realities. SHe has to win re-election in Alaska in 2010- She is being criticized in her state for going "national". Some here may prefer that she stood outside the turkey shed in an RNC Saks elegant designer suit---However, teh savvy Gov. Palin decided that the voter behind her- (and the majority of Alaskans like him)- would prefer to see her with a little blood on her clothes.

This is a local affiliate - she prob. didn’t think anything of it because she has done it before!
And again, I’m sure that there wasn’t anyone there at the start of the interview, but she of all people should know that she must control the environment around her when dealing with the press because they will take any opportunity they can to embarrass her. It shouldn’t have been that difficult to recognize that giving an interview standing where she had to potential to be very embarrassing. At this point she should be much better at NOT being caught by surprise by the media’s cheap shots.
Next thing you know we’ll find out our fish sandwiches have been killed too!

All right, I have to say this video is HILARIOUS. The captions and the feigned outrage by the meat eating media is too much. This is like a parody. Obviously, the whole circle of life thing is not a big deal for Sarah. She has said as much. She grew up with it. Unless these reporters and viewers are vegetarians, they are hypocrites.
I was trying to figure out the device behind her. The turkey is placed in, decapitated and drained? I couldn’t see it.
Can you refute one word I said about THIS TOPIC, without trying to change the subject to something else. Or are we all supposed to just engage in a massive circle jerk over certain people here and offer up no criticism?
