And again, I’m sure that there wasn’t anyone there at the start of the interview, but she of all people should know that she must control the environment around her when dealing with the press because they will take any opportunity they can to embarrass her. It shouldn’t have been that difficult to recognize that giving an interview standing where she had to potential to be very embarrassing. At this point she should be much better at NOT being caught by surprise by the media’s cheap shots.

What in the world would make anyone think she was caught by surprise? She'd have to be frighteningly dull, I mean Biden-dull to not be aware of her surroundings here.
