All right, I have to say this video is HILARIOUS. The captions and the feigned outrage by the meat eating media is too much. This is like a parody. Obviously, the whole circle of life thing is not a big deal for Sarah. She has said as much. She grew up with it. Unless these reporters and viewers are vegetarians, they are hypocrites.
I was trying to figure out the device behind her. The turkey is placed in, decapitated and drained? I couldn’t see it.
It's a killing cone. Simply a funnel that lets you keep both hands free while you , uh, um, er... yell "Allahu achbar!" and slash. If you do it the way we used to with just a hatchet and a log they tend to run around for a bit afterwards and yes, they can still gobble without a head... problem with the hatchet method is if they stagger around they might get bruised. Chickens we would just hang over a clothesline. The cone keeps the birds from getting bruised until they are bled out.
Of course we never killed turkeys in front of the others like this guy is doing so ours never knew why Franklin or Tom never rejoined the flock. I think from now on I will name all my turkeys after annoying media talking heads.
