My brother has a turkey farm-—probably a lot of Gov. Palin’s constituents do, too. Do the idiots at MSNBC think the turkeys decorating their Thanksgiving tables matically appear wrapped in Saran wrap from heaven? This is such a non-story; it’s not like the guy was hackin’ up turkeys and blood was flying everywhere.
BTW, the interview was pretty good. Of course, they’ll be no mention of that. I like how she says she’ll probably be criticized for it, though...haha

I’m going to repeat this again - this was a local affiliate and the MSM went digging for this and I have not seen this on Fox or anywhere else - they are trying very hard. This local station was asking her questions and I believe that being a Governor you still have to be in the eye of the state’s media - there’s no getting out of that.
If this scares (”I fear”) you, then you are going to be reduced to a quivering pile of jelly by the ATSP MSM over the next two years...

It’s endearing to a point and damaging if it goes to far. This time its like a reality SNL skit or something from Benny Hill(comedian from Great Britin).
Doesn’t everyone know that turkeys are slaughtered at turkey farms? No big deal. The left wing media naturally goes wild over this stuff, just as they did about shooting wolves from helicopters, and the entire concept of actually hunting period.
I’d like to see Sarah issue a snarky statement to the media, calling them out for squirming and being totally aghast at the sight of her mingling with “the folks” at a slaughterhouse. Guess what - that’s how turkey gets to our plates on Thanksgiving....we should all be thankful!
Sounds like the local news found out she was going to the turkey farm to pick out a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner, and she did the “turkey pardon fluff piece” for the crew. Then, after the crew was finished filming, picked the nicest turkey in the lot and gutted and cleaned it right there. These newsguys are a bunch of Nancyboys.
It's a killing cone. Simply a funnel that lets you keep both hands free while you , uh, um, er... yell "Allahu achbar!" and slash. If you do it the way we used to with just a hatchet and a log they tend to run around for a bit afterwards and yes, they can still gobble without a head... problem with the hatchet method is if they stagger around they might get bruised. Chickens we would just hang over a clothesline. The cone keeps the birds from getting bruised until they are bled out.
Of course we never killed turkeys in front of the others like this guy is doing so ours never knew why Franklin or Tom never rejoined the flock. I think from now on I will name all my turkeys after annoying media talking heads.
Well, at least this time the liberals cannot claim the turkey is plastic like they did with Bush.
I can’t get over the fact that the MSM dug to find something like this on a losing VP candidate weeks after the election.
The msm is lost in it’s own world. I wouldn’t laugh at Gov Palin either but you gotta laugh at the picture with their title. It is funny.
Myself I don’t think anything about the guy killing the turkey in the background of their video. My ex-sister-in-law used to wring a chickens neck every Sunday and we picked and cleaned it for chicken and dumplings. Only thing their video does to me is make me hungry.
Well this was the network that asked how many houses she would bring to the ticket.
I guarantee the only coverage this gets on FOX is if they talk about how unbelievably stupid it is.

Not even close. The correct way for her to react is "Gosh, how do all those turkeys get into the store? You mean you didn't realize that?" You must be a little slow.
