Bush Hands Over Reins of U.S. Economy to EU
Newsmax.com ^ | Dick Morris & Eileen McGann

The results of the G-20 economic summit amount to nothing less than the seamless integration of the United States into the European economy.

In one month of legislation and one diplomatic meeting, the United States has unilaterally abdicated all the gains for the concept of free markets won by the Reagan administration and surrendered, in total, to the Western European model of socialism, stagnation, and excessive government regulation.

Or Kerry in 2004.

Dear Lord I never thought I would see this day.

Even now I am hoping that Red South is wrong. I just went grocery shopping and sat at the computer.

I am confused about what this means.

On January 20, 2009 obama will assume power. He will then make this the land of milk and honey. If you can only hold on until then your worries will be over.

Everyone needs to remember the “agenda”...A one world order...with a one world currency or electronic equivilant and a one world religion. To accomplish that, everything you see will have to happen, now they just need to start killing Jews and Christians and rid the world of the vermon they think we are.

WE just never thought WE would see it!!

When it says “demand changes”, how and with what authority.

Is this just a review and regulatory think tank recommending changes, or does this have real teeth?

And how does Privacy Laws come into play with this review board?

Bush is to Obama like tuberculosis is to terminal cancer.

I won;t be singing in the streets for the Obamanation. I voted for McNutjob - mainly for two reasons - Obama and Palin. And if Mr. Bush hadn’t done such a miserable job in his second term we might not have the Obamanation in the White House!!

“Where Franklin Roosevelt saved capitalism by regulating it” ... wait a sec ...

this article is confusing in more way than one.

the last line is a given though: “Who needs enemies with friends like Bush?”

Bush will go down as worst president ever, w/conservatives in full agreement — and that based on everything but the wars.

Kerry being elected in 04 may have been just what conservatives need, instead we get this “legacy” and Obama.

Before everyone gets too worked up, remember that it is Dick Morris writing this. he is consistently wrong about just about everything

I know it’s getting harder and harder to disagree with Bush hates when they say he is dumb. In fact, I just agree with them now and point out that when “my man” does wrong I hold him accountable.

Yes, why isn’t Bush offering a tax cut bill instead? The stimulus was obviously a temporary short term idea that should be followed by low tax rates for the ailing economy

And a big thanks to all of you who support such liberal ideas as Globalism, Free Trade Liberalism, Free Trade w Communist China, and Business Socialism

Seems being “Protectionist” for the rest of the world was better than being “Protectionist” for America

Next time someone whines “protectionist” when supporting the American economy....please kindly surrender your US passport and depart on the next flight leaving this country...thank you

Ditto! Morris is delusional. (He claimes to be ‘conservative’???)
So much for government education on the functions of US government.

The President proposes. The Congress disposes.

After decades of conniving, the socialist-elitist “vision”(a better word is “nightmare”)of world government is coming true. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness will become just a forgotten dream.

I agree with your second paragraph.

I would like to include the Republican Party also.

It is my opion that the 2008 election turned out in all aspects like the Republican Party hierarchy wished. I do not believe that they enjoyed being the majority party in Congress.

John Mc Cain spent more time in bed with the Democrats than he did his wife.
