Since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, Robert Spencer [whose Jihad Watch is featured weekly in HUMAN EVENTS] has been a one-man warning system against radical Islam. A scholar who has spent most of his professional life studying Islam, his string of books dissects the world's largest religion as a bastion of intolerance and hate, justified by the teachings of spiritual leader Mohammed and various holy men.
As one of his previous titles, the "Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam," suggests, Spencer does not buckle in fear of the type of backlash that can materialize as a death-threatening fatwa against a critical author.
Now comes a new warning from Spencer. In "Stealth Jihad: How Radical Islam Is Subverting America without Guns or Bombs," Spencer factually outlines how Muslim radicals are methodically undercutting American values of individual freedom, quoting leaders of this anti-American movement who say their ultimately goal is the creation of an Islamic state right here in the good old U.S.A.
Say it can't happen? Just look at our kinsmen in Europe. Their guilt, and

Your correct!
It can’t be stopped. The same forces that encourage the rise if liberalism permit the rise if Islam.
Destruction of the cities is the only answer. We can only hope for disease or catastrophe to do the job legally
'Scuse me? World's largest?
Liberalism and Islam have many things in common includng a belief that “hypocrisy” (as they perceive it) is deserving of punishment by the government.
Say it can't happen? Just look at our last election...
The looming collapse of free enterprise will probably do the trick, and it won't be pretty. 4th century here we come.
Makes me wonder...how many murders in the US of A are actually done by Muslims doing this “fatwa” thing.
Yes.
And you will note typically wherever they exist they suffer the highest levels of unemployment, illiteracy, loss of rights and in general backwards third world conditions.
That is what Barrack and his crew will import, instill and support.
YEAH OBOMA!
Here is to the new CHANGE coming to America!
Here is to all us lucky Ba$tard$!
Yes they can be stopped. We will lose many good men and women in the process. But the fight against tyranny and bondage will require the ultimate sacrifice.
Our troops are fighting against them overseas. The least we Americans can do is save the homeland, being willing to do absolutely whatever it takes. The law, according to Washington, is not on our side. So the fight has two fronts. Washington is obvious. The chicken sh*t jihaddis hide behind that.
He’s wrong - Christianity is still larger:
Christianity: 2.1 billion
Islam: 1.5 billion
“his string of books dissects the world’s largest religion
‘Scuse me? World’s largest?”
Religion??
If the world thought the "insurrection" in Iraq was brutal and a sign of rebellion against a "foreign invader", they ain't seen nothin' yet.
“Liberalism and Islam have many things in common includng a belief that hypocrisy (as they perceive it) is deserving of punishment by the government.”
Excellent point. And yet they are different in a very dangerous way: liberalism is essentially no principles or tenets for which its adherents would fight beyond demanding government action while Islam is a religion that not only encourages but apparently demands its adherents to fight and die for. Liberalism turns people into whimps and weenies (or maybe just attracts them) while Islam creates madmen and martyr wanna-be’s. Head to head, toe to toe, the madmen win.
Unless Jesus returns, or we stop them. I am hoping for the former and planning for the latter.
Islamofascism becomes doubly dangerous due to its elemental attraction to the various components of the Left.
On a different thread we were discussing the discovery that "religious people" apparantly perceive visual cues about 30 milliseconds faster than "atheists". Rather than that being an artifact of a "religious outlook", which the fellows who conducted the study thought it might be, I suggested that the "religious outlook" was a manifestation of a fundamental biological difference between the two groups of people ~ almost a difference in species!
No doubt that study will lead to further studies and maybe make some interesting connections. I think we face something like that with the Islamofascist and the Liberal attraction to using the government to punish "hypocrisy" as they perceive it.
Fact is 99.99999% of "hypocrisy" is a perceptual difference between the doer and the observer anyway. Those with defective response capability (that tricky little 30 millisecond difference perhaps) may simply not have the ability to pick up on the total view necessary to see the "truth".
It is no doubt highly frustrating to Moslems and Liberals to be forever locked out. Hence, the danger of their lashing out at their betters with violence or threats of tighter regulation.
This also means that sans genetic manipulation, we will continue to live with their threats or somehow isolate them from the general population.
“Still, modern Liberalism is a gateway to not so modern fascism and it’s permuatations ~ communism and nazism.
Islamofascism becomes doubly dangerous due to its elemental attraction to the various components of the Left.”
Absotively, posilutely! Libeeralism creates a hole in the psyche of its adherents, leaving an emptiness which is spiritual and because liberals tend to discount spiritual emptiness, it leaves them vulnerable to all kinds of claims to fill that emptiness of not having something worth dying for. Islam is all-too-able to fill that gap.
Don’t know about the genetic component of atheism versus religiosity. I have my doubts but I believe that skepticism highly developed may certainly dull one’s perception of reality.
This is the article carried in Yahoo. I’m always suspicious of a claim that a “belief system” can cause such fundamental differences in such things as the decay rate of “visual purple” ~
