Could Nancy Pelosi be our next President?
The news seems to indicate that there is a problem with Obama’s birth certificate and some states are talking about holding their electoral votes. If this becomes the case I see several possibilities and am asking for your feedback.
1. The States where Obama won withhold their electoral college votes and McCain wins by default.
2. Because of the ciaos of Obama not being a citizen there is a delay in deciding what to do, on January 20 2009 Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the house and third in line become the President.
3. I don’t think Bidden would step up because has yet not been sworn in and not officially the VP yet. Besides the vote was for Obama for President and not Bidden it would either default to McCain or to Pelosi.
4. If Pelosi were a planer she could arrange to have a crises that took the USA past the swearing in time and by default become the first American Woman President, heaven forbid.
That is my take if Obama fails to prove citizenship.

There aren’t too many people I would choose Obama over. Pelosi is one of them. If she switched her affiliation from D to R overnight, people would admit she makes Sarah Palin look like Marie Curie.

We flew to Zamboanga City (southern Philippines) and strolled around the flea markets, first time in my life seeing security guards dressed like SWAT personnel armed with variety of assult weapons, e.g., Browning automatic rifles, M-1s, M-14s, AK-47s, .45 Israeli OZs with grenades in their belts.

Yep - it’s the “NEW” VP, but only because Amendment 12 of the Constitution amended by the ratification of Amendment 20. Here’s Amendment 20, Section 3:
“If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.”
Note that this expressly provides that “if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified...” But if the President-elect can NEVER qualify, then it would appear that the Vice President-elect will fill out the term of the dis-qualified President-elect.

Yes. After they are sworn in if obamma lamma ding dong and joe the fool biden were killed then the speaker of the house takes over.
Great, so if you are hoping for a calamity for obamma lamma and biden it will turn out even worse.
I believe yours is the correct reading of the 20th Amendment. Obama is President-elect, and Biden is VP-elect. If Obama dies before January 20, Biden becomes President, no strings attached. If Obama is found unqualified before January 20, Biden becomes President until a new President is qualified. However, there is no law in place for qualifying a new President. Biden is therefore President until a new President is elected 2012 and sworn in in 2013. Congress gets into the act only if both Obama and Biden are found to be unqualified prior to January 20.
And Cheney picks Palin as Veep. If Cheney’s heart gives out in two years, Palin is sworn in. Sad for Cheney but, weird twist of fate.
In my opinion, after reading about the birth certificate situation I do suspect that Obama is not a natural born citizen. All he has to do is release the information.
That said, they are going to do everything possible to cover this up and they probably are doing this as we speak.

If he is not eligible, and they prove it, he cannot serve. I am a little confused as to who would step in until they sort this out.

Clinton would be their choice if Obama is ruled out.
If Obama is unqualified, so is his running mate who was attached to him. If they attempted to foist Biden as legit,
all of Hillary’s voters and many Democrats would throw him out.

First of all that’s not true, second of all give me a break as if rat electors wouldn’t vote for their messiah.
If the President Elect fails to qualify the VP-Elect becomes President but that won’t happen, no one outside of FR and a few others cares about the allegation Obama may not be a citizen, it is not being investigated, nothing will come of it.

The Constitution says that the winner must have a majority of the electoral votes. McCain has only 162. That's less than a third of the 538 total.
