Franken Asks State to Count Disqualified Ballots @ 2:44 pm by Hill Staff

Democrat Al Franken’s (Minn.) campaign filed a campaign with Minnesota’s Board of Canvassers Monday asking the organization in charge of certifying election results to include some originally disqualified provisional and absentee ballots in the vote totals.

“There are, of course, legitimate reasons to reject absentee ballots,” said Franken spokesman Andy Barr in a conference call with reporters. “But it is clear that there are some absentee ballots that have been rejected in error. Those votes should be counted.”

The Franken campaign said they expected their campaign and the Coleman campaign to have an opportunity to present arguments before the board at 1 p.m. tomorrow, but opened the door to a federal challenge to the election results should the board decide against them.

Count my ballot, too. I didn’t vote there, or even live in MN, but my state starts with an M. That should be good enough. I vote for Coleman.

No, no you have to reason like a democrat. We all here on FR would have voted for Coleman if we lived in MN so therefore our votes count. I am sure that we can find a box of votes somewhere that are all marked Coleman also. Wouldn't they scream if a republican came up with a couple boxes of votes, all marked republican. Somehow it would be different if republicans found votes stuffed in car trunks.

Democrat Al Franken knows that if the voter is so dumb he gets his vote disqualified, then the voter must have voted Democratic!

Will this count the ballots that were “found” after the first count, all mysteriously for Franken, btw?

“There are, of course, legitimate reasons to reject absentee ballots,” said Franken spokesman Andy Barr

Sure if they have Coleman's name on them, but tat probably would be the only reason.

Come on Pawlenty, show us your style.</ Sarcasm>

It’s to be expected now, sadly, that there are no prominent Republicans speaking out against this “manufacture votes till we win” ploy

This all started with B1 Bomber Bob...... Remember Governor Chris Gregoire?

Obamaination will lead to reincarnation of the Reagan nation.

Why is there no action from the Republican party?

They are too busy trying to derail Sarah.

“Why is there no action from the Republican party?”
Haven’t you been reading the MSM? There is no Republican Party.
McCain has already jumped ship and is brushing the dust off of every bill he reached across the aisle to write but didn’t have support from his own party to pass. Amnesty, global warming - Oh goodie two new bills that have my name on them.

McCain is using Democrats to help build his legacy. Too bad he doesn’t realize that the average Democrat doesn’t even know who McCain is much less that he reached across the aisle to pass the fill in the blank - bill. Each time a Republican hears about the latest McCain-DemocratDuJour Bill they want to tar and feather him.

Gads. I know what you’re saying. I lived in Montgomery for fifteen years. GORGEOUS place. Just too many 1. Democrats. 2. Mosquitoes. 3. Sub-zero days. We used to say, “Ah! Minnesota! Air you can drink, and water you can’t!” LOL!
