DEBKAfile’s counter-terror sources report that US president-elect Barack Obama, European and Russian heads of state in Washington for the G20 conference over the weekend were briefed about a probable early al Qaeda attack.
Obama and his team have been advised that a new al Qaeda strike is highly probable in the United States or against a key US target in Europe, North Africa or the Middle East.
DEBKA-Net-Weekly 372 of Nov. 14 disclosed that al Qaeda’s Yemen base, a reliable barometer for Osama bin Laden’s schemes, issued a Directive to All Fighters in Arabia on Nov. 9 presaging a major operation in the United States that will “change the political and economic world” and be “far bigger than 9/11.”

There have been rumors for years about the desire for Al Qaeda to kill four million Americans - two million of whom have to be children. I have no doubt that they would like to do it, having seen what they’ve done on a smaller scale.
My main fear isn’t Democrat capitulation. My fear stems from Barack’s dad being a Moslem, which makes him a Moslem, in the same manner that my mother being Jewish makes me a Jew - even though I’m going to Mass every Sunday. Barack can go to the Crazy Reverend’s Church of the Holy Pigmentation for 20 years, but that doesn’t prevent him from inheriting his religious ancestry from his father, in the same way that I’ll be let into Israel tomorrow based on my religious ancestry from my mother. (By the way, if I’m wrong here about Islamic belief concerning passing their faith from father to son, please write, don’t flame.)
My fear is that Obama will be meeting with some Islamic dignitary somewhere, and by the time the Secret Service responds, Obama will meet the fate of anyone who was Islamic and now rejects the faith. No doubt the assassin will be killed as well - but it’s a small price to pay for eternity in Paradise.
My other fear goes in the opposite direction. Let’s say there is some awful horrific attack, and the President goes on television to declare a conversion experience to “the faith of my father” in an attempt to forestall more terror.
Either my imagination is in overdrive, or my tin foil hat needs adjustment. LOL
Can you imagine them doing this on the day O’s inauguration?
You *do* realize the massive chaos in the US should Al Qaeda assassinate Obama, or even come close?
It could spark civil war here, as the moonbat types will insist (even in the face of *proof*, remember 9-11 as an "inside job") that "the hateful GOP" is behind it -- "probably a Bush/Palin job"TM...
