President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to Kenya will pave the way for increased cooperation between the two countries, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Sheikholeslam said on Friday in Nairobi.
In a meeting with Kenyan Vice President Stephene Kalonzo Musyoka, he stated that there has been substantial improvement in Tehran-Nairobi relations.
Iranian companies are currently implementing road and power plant projects in Kenya and are interested in expanding their activities in the East African nation, Sheikholeslam said.

Obama phones Kenya’s President Kibaki
http://www.zeenews.com/world/2008-11-14/483491news.html
Nairobi, Nov 14: United States president-elect Barack Obama telephoned Kenya’s President Mwai Kibaki on Tuesday night to discuss issues of mutual interest and future plans of engagement.
During the telephone conversation, President Kibaki again congratulated Obama, whose late father was from Kenya, on his historic and well-deserved victory, according to the Presidential Press Service in Nairobi.
President Kibaki conveyed the best wishes of the people of Kenya, noting that Obama’s victory resonated well in the country and had been received with immense pride and gratification.
It’s all just so...convenient.
Maybe it’s a prelude for Obama and Ahmadinejad meeting in Kenya.
A Look at Iran

Will Obama be able to deal with this surging Kenyan/Iranian axis of evil? More to come!

Obama is likely to approve of this arrangement.
Any doubt?
I just read this morning that the radical Islamist Somali “rebels” are about to take over Mogadishu and will then be fully in charge of Somalia; they’re also active in Northern Kenya and will probably continue their march into Kenya. That will be fine with Ahmadinejad and I doubt that The One will have any problems with it either.
wtf strategic interest does Iran have in Kenya that merits such a high level visit??????
so now Kenya will have a representative in the Whitehouse Jan 20....when will Americans next get one after President Bush retires?
Not good ping
Unconditionally, Obamunist will approve
good question
Perhaps Ahmaddanutjob is shopping for 'discussion points' to use w/Obama in his first 'no preconditions' meeting. Clearly they have much in common!
There was a lot of terrorist “activity” in Kenya back in 02 and 03...did a lot of “training” in that area back then....
A guy just can’t make this crap up...it’s astonishing.
