The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

I’ve never heard an elected Republican speak to this problem. It’s a severe one. These people do everything they can to undermine Republicans when they are in power.

This appears to be a hoax by an anonymous individual who claims that his “case” was dismissed. Apparently, no such case ever existed. If so, pleas provide links to the official court documents which would be publicly posted, name of court, judge, ...etc, and I will stand corrected.
The state of Hawaii’s Director of Health and the State Registrar of Vital Statistics have both confirmed Obama’s Certification of Live Birth being on file and genuine. The certificate photographed in elaborate detail on the factcheck.org web site is NOT a fake. It contains the name and the official state stamp of Alvin T. Onaka and he is one of the two state of Hawaii officials who have publically verified the Obama Certificate’s authenticity.

There is very little additional information on the long form from what is on the short form.Doctor's name and signature? Also, the short form is printed from a computer data base. Those can be changed.

Why no word on granny’s funeral? He went there to meet with Hawaii’s governor to make sure they were on the same page. Granny has died but Obama can’t squeeze in a memorial service? I’ll never want to drink a beer w/Obama like Hannity said he’d like to.
Actually, I am reading as much as I can and weighing the evidence. I am considering both sides and do not find that the proof supports a conspiracy to coverup Obama’s foreign birth. How many supporters of this belief will give consideration to the opposing point of view?
That to me was the clincher. Why, 47 years ago, was it so imperative to make sure he was a NATURAL BORN American? That only became salient with his nomination to be president. For all other purposes, even election to the Senate, it would have been no big deal, had he been born abroad, to become an American via naturalization.

The definition of conspiracy IS several people lying about something! If you find it a loaded word, I apologize. I simply meant that I find it hard to believe that such a lie could have been continued for 47 years without one person making a mistake or selling out for money, fame, etc.

I haven’t heard anyone on this thread except me think that the Malcolm X thing is too far over the edge, so I guess it is more than one or two people.
I guess citizens that care about this kind of stuff ...little things like the Constitution are Bitter, racists, and bigots that would like nothing better then to see obama to fail....
Amazing how the left came together in a great spirit of togetherness after the 2000 election... and then when difficult decisions about diarming a tyrant bent on the destruction of the U.S. in the shadow of 911 it was wonderful how the left joined hands with the right and saw the actions for the greater good....

Just because it’s not mentioned means that the media doesn’t want it out? I can’t imagine that there isn’t ONE reporter (a la the wonderful woman out of Orlando who interviewed Biden) out there who wouldn’t want one of the biggest scoops in history. Maybe it has been investigated and found without plausibility.
The media may be biased (and they sure are), but they aren’t monolithic. Self interest plays a part.
