Rahm Emanuel, Obama's Chief of Staff, in a revealing discussion about Obama and the Democrats coming MANDATORY CIVIL SERVICE PLAN
Rahm laughs at the reporters concern at how far reaching the Mandatory Civil Service would be.
Still, they’re going to be asking taxpayers to pay $40 hour to students for their “service”, that’s quite a slap in the face to the millions who don’t make $40 hour.
Joe the landscaper making $15 an hour will be taxed to give goofball teenagers $40 an hour to be indoctrinated by Obama.
Brit actually accused some conservatives of getting the Obama equivalent of Bush Derangement Syndrome using this Congressman as an example.
I never in my life saw or heard Hume declaiming in such an exaggerated, mocking, derisive tone. Wow!
Obviously, with his Fox tenure coming to a close, he's showing his true colors. Or like O'Reilly he has to seem "fair and balanced" every once in a while. But this was beyond the pale.
I'll be glad when he's gone.....but like Count Tom Brokula, he'll keep coming back forever like a vampire because no one dares use the silver stake on an icon.

Does helping the republican party count as civil service?
I think we need to recruit tons of high school kids to help the republican party. They can get their community service hours that way.
Communism—”Unity in Diversity” “The Common Good”
But as long as we all wear brown shirts, we’ll be safe.
Insane, isn’t it, those kids will just LOVE “government”. As Dana Carvey would say impersonating Johnny Carson,” wild, wacky, stuff.”
Hello blogpimp.
There are 2 branches of that “Common Experience” that Rahm talks about::
Those who have worked for a living for all of their lives.......Most of us here at FR.......
Those who have been on welfare/food stamps/section 8 housing/head start/free school cafeteria food/affirmative action school placements/ etc, etc, etc.......
Who is switching with whom?????
Thanks 444 for getting some of the info up there. I think some may be confusing the college credit thing with Mandatory plan that we discussed a couple of days ago.
As when marxist health care passes, don't look for any senators to stand in line at their local health clinics. One rule for party members, another for the proletariat.
I hope he presses forward with it. He’s going to be real popular with the youth vote.
I say it is already over. Check my new tagline.
I read that the participants will get $40 per hour credit, so the taxpayers are going to pay teenagers $40 an hour?””
Isn’t that a hoot???
Most workers in the USA have never and will never make $40/hour.
Teenagers aren’t worth $4/hour that I have ever encountered.
Yes, it is a huge carrot. Rahm had discussed that this would be a lifelong credit that could be used when needed.
He states in the interview that he would like to remove the existing 5 tax provisions and replace them with one. At that point, if someone wants a tax credit, the only option would be doing service time. This is how I am interpreting it. (But, this is still different than the Mandatory Civilian Service Force learning about Homeland Security/terrorism/Fema,etc).
I'll bet he looks foolish flipping someone off with that stub....
read that the participants will get $40 per hour credit, so the taxpayers are going to pay teenagers $40 an hour?
Hey, I heard the $40/hour is TAX FREE, which means an 18 year old kid would be getting like..SEVENTY DOLLARS PER HOUR.
That’s a $140K/year job for raking leaves and cleaning up trash.
Certainly not a bad gig if you can get it!”
That is even more disgusting!!!
NObama thinks he and his Congress can tax people who work- actually do work and have worked all their lives— who make less than $30/hour gross are going to sit still carrying a kid getting $40/hour with no taxes?????
There will be trouble everywhere. I predict lots of trouble.
This is not so much about service as it is about an opportunity to indoctrinate.
bingo
