Time punishes war. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are no exception; as each moment passes, public resolve, politics and passion erode their mission.
Collectively, many Americans tend to remember the mistakes and politics that led us there, rather than the faces of the men and women who serve and defend us.
Two years ago, Lizzie Palmer, a young lady from Columbus, Ohio, barely over the threshold of childhood, felt compelled to do her part to remind people of those faces.

What a touching video and what a special young lady Lizzie Palmer is for reminding us of those brave heroes that put their lives on the line for us.
God bless Lizzie, our troops, veterans and families of those who serve. We are forever grateful. Thanks for sharing!
Salena, this is a hauntingly touching and appropriate tribute to today’s veterans and their families. Thanks for bringing it to us here.
Hey, MA, Canteen Ping? Most of us have seen this...it’s worth seeing again today.

Bless you, Salena.

Beautiful....says it all!
Thanks for the ping, Kathy!
Thanks for the Zing!!!

:)
Would you please put me on your Pingy Thingys?
LOL! Thanks Kathy...
LOL Just giving credit where it is due! You and many veterans have fought hard to give us the freedom that we have. At the time, it might not have seemed that big a deal, but exuberance and ignorance of youth eventually turns into older and wiser! ;)
