Hailing Barack Obama's win as a victory for the "working class," the Communist Party USA is calling on the president-elect to carry out his promises, including his noted commitment to "spread the wealth."

An editorial by the People's Weekly World said the victory was for "workers of all job titles, professions, shapes, colors, sizes, hairstyles and languages."

The newspaper, which boasts of its "partisan coverage," identifies itself as "a national, grassroots weekly newspaper and the direct descendant of the 'Daily Worker.'"

"We are partisan to the working class, racially and nationally oppressed peoples, women, youth, seniors, international solidarity, Marxism and socialism. We enjoy a special relationship with the Communist Party USA, founded in 1919, and publish its news and views," the publication states.

The paper said Obama's victory is "important … not only for people here in the U.S., but also for our sisters and brothers around the world."

Thank all the people who stayed home or voted 3rd party. This year was too important to be righteous, but 20% of conservatives failed to see it and stayed home. (per Newsmax yesterday election analysis)

Some people are just suicidal that way. And especially with our nation at war, I can honestly say that I hold in contempt all of those who so willingly abandoned our military for the sake of their so-called, “righteousness”.

I’m a conservative, but I’m not so arrogant and stupid as to not admit that this election was for the heart, soul and future of America. The righteous of us gave the Dem’s control. The righteous of us gave Obama the presidency. It does appear that our enemies are emerging from not only the far left....

"The Communist Party USA views the 2008 elections as a tremendous opportunity to defeat the policies of the right-wing Republicans and to move our country in a new progressive direction.

The record turnout in the Democratic Presidential primary races shows that millions of voters, including millions of new voters, are using this election to bring about real change. We wholeheartedly agree with them."

"Their founding document [the Weather Underground's] called for the establishment of a "white fighting force" to be allied with the "Black Liberation Movement" and other "anti-colonial" movements[1] to achieve "the destruction of US imperialism and the achievement of a classless world: world communism."..."-Berger, Dan (2006). "they [the Weather Underground] employed revolutionary jargon, advocated armed struggle and black liberation and began bombing buildings, taking responsibility for at least 20 attacks. Estimates of their number ranged at times from several dozen to several hundred."

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate
Kathy Shaidle, FrontPageMag.com
Monday, April 07, 2008

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obama’s pastor in a heated interview about his Church’s teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...

Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Same here, but I am amazed the number of people who have been very open here that they voted for any number of people other than McPalin... and have no remourse.

“At a mass meeting, thought is eliminated. And because this is the state of mind I require, because it secures to me the best sounding-board for my speeches, I order everyone to attend the meetings, where they become part of the mass whether they like it or not, “intellectuals” and “bourgeois” as well as workers. I mingle the people. I speak to them only as the mass.”

They do not reach conclusions by reasoning.”
