WASHINGTON (Map, News) - A Republican congressman from Georgia is calling President-elect Obama a Marxist and warning that he might be planning to form a Gestapo-like security force so he can rule as a dictator.

Two-term Rep. Paul Broun of Athens cited a July speech that has circulated on the Internet in which Obama called for a civilian force to take some of the national security burden off the military.

The Civilian Security Force statement was indeed more troubling to more people maybe than anything else Obama has said, or promised to do. Worse yet was seeing the footage in real time of him making the statement , and the idiots in the audience not even registering the import of the words, just rolling over it with their non-stop applause. No one has effectively questioned Obama as to just exactly what he meant by that, what the plan is.
My feeling is that no one SHOULD question it, not for right now. This gives him way too much wiggle room to have his advisers make up some thoroughly innocuous explanation
that is likely to satisfy all those who now consider him their President (about 75% of the country provisionally).
They will spin it as some kind of quasi-volunteer army of Community Organizers lite, dispatched into Inner City neighborhoods to basically waste money by setting up community/grievance centers, etc. , something that makes no sense when you try to match it up with his actual words, which pretty much describe nothing so much as Tonton Macoutes, Brownshirts, or an upscale version of Mao’s Red Guards. This is going to have to be a waiting game, but one that is carefully monitored. Otherwise we run the risk of looking like dangerous alarmists, and kooks, and that’s what they’re counting on. Let them make the first moves toward creating a sanitized version of the brown shirts, let them fall on their face when they have a hard time recruiting anyone outside of Youth at Risk with a Bad Attitude, and see how badly it plays with the rest of America. Maybe how badly it plays even with his own party.

Well, my friend, just WHO have you EVER heard among those you named or neglected to name, who have EVER made a statement like Obama did about a National Security Force,as well funded and well trained as the Military? Who EVER said that? And who ever said it with as much conviction as he did, except a dictator?

Just because you’re not paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you.

I don’t think so. I don’t think the honeymoon will
last very long at all. The folks who didn’t know he
was a latent dictator are about to be shocked, and
will join with those who already knew.

Only the true ‘blue’ leftists of the hollywierd stripe
will still love him this time next year

Spread the wealth around.....that’s your entire case for Marxism........so maybe Obama just like Republican is just STUPID as you say for raising taxes.....why you assume the worst about him and not them?

0bama is either stupid or dishonest when he claims that he wants to raise tax rates to raise more total revenue so he can "spread it around". Raising tax rates always results in less total tax revenue. Lowering tax rates always results in more total tax revenue. John Kennedy realized this in 1962. I don't think 0bama is stupid.

I want to spread the wealth around.

Spread your wealth around all you want--keep your hands off mine. You must think "rich" people (I'm not one of them) are like Scrooge McDuck, who keep their money in huge piles in vaults so they can go into those vaults and play with their money. Rich people invest their money into silly things like new businesses that create jobs for people like me. Unless you work for government, which is likely, your job probably came from some "rich" guy.

Its not healthy for society for 90% of the wealth belonging to top 5-10%.

Says who? The "rich" do a much better job of spending, saving, and investing their money than "poor" people do. That upper 10% already pay 90% of the taxes in this country. Why don't you and your esteemed leader just confiscate all of the rich people's income and distribute it equally to everyone? Of course, you could only do such a scheme once (remember the story of The Little Red Hen?). Moreover, within six months of such a Marxist redistribution, you and all the other formerly "poor" people would be poor again and the formerly "rich" people would be rich again because...."A fool and his money are soon parted..."

Government should be looking into what can be done so poor have a chance to do better.

Government has been looking into this "problem" for over 40 years with it's hugely successful War on Poverty, spent over $6 Trillion on it, and, according to you and all the other poverty pimps in the democrat party, we now have more poor people than ever. That is the definition of insanity.

How to increase the number of college graduates in Appalachia or ghettos, wherever people are getting left behind.

People are getting left behind because life is a fast moving freight train, and they are too lazy to get out of the hammock you and the other poverty pimps have created for them using other people's money.

There is nothing evil or marxist about trying to do that.

As long as you use your money for it, and if you can persuade me and others to voluntarily give of our resources, then you are right. But the minute you use government to try to force me or others into slavery to fund your particular vision of "justice" then you are an evil marxist.

How trustworthy is that site?

Absolutely no idea.

As near as I can tell it is so poorly designed that you couldn't search by name to find out if your dream-mate is a nightmare.

I wouldn't put a vast amount of money on it, I don't know how well they vet any inputs, or even if they verify anything.

Still, it gives one pause...

Can we expect this inside the regime of the American Khomeini? Yes, Marxist-Islamist Obama. No, not that far fetched in a year or two as civil disobedience arises.

I believe there is the ability for him to achieve both. I will never say never again! A few years ago I would have said America would never vote in a President Barrack Hussein Obama (a muslim and marxist) in post 9-11 America. But yet here we are!

The problem is most Americans have become complacent and taken their liberty for granted over the years. And this is the fallout. Add that to the millions who vote by what they hear in the MSM or what MTV tells them and this has us in a dangerous place in the US today.

Call me paranoid if you like. I for one am keeping my eye on him and nothing will surprise me.

Innocent myass. We already have "organizations that help lift up people who are left behind." They're called churches, charities, and service clubs. All voluntary and at the local level, NOT in Pyongyang-on-the-Potomac -- where 72 cents of every welfare-benefits dollar somehow stick to the bureaucrats' paws -- and most definitely not "larger and better armed than the military."

PS -- Scarlett who? Conservatives are in trouble because they keep on believing that -- this time for sure -- Lucy van Pelt will hold that football for them.

The GOP should have been howling about Obama’s Marxism for the past six months instead of trying to be nice to him.

Some people are more concerned with what our marxist fuhrer is going to do to our military than with the availability of pornography. It’s obvious where your priorities are.

Likewise.

Yep, that's right.

That's why we more than ever need the G.O.P. to win some of the remaining Senate races so that we can maintain the filibuster power that we're going to so badly need to stop Hussein's quest to spy on his political opponents.

This is why I've been saying keep your powder dry and have your guns ready. As I've stated before the other side clearly has criminal and sinister intentions.

It is indeed very scary.
