ok, I am totally uninformed as to gun laws, as I never wanted one around the house when my sons were small. Now they are all in college and with the way things are going, I think that one is a good thing to do. I asked a friend of mine here and he said that we just have to under go a background check to buy a gun. The permit is only if we intend to carry a concealed weapon. Just wanted to have all my bases covered when we go to buy them. thanks
Call the NRA or a large reputable gun store in your area with some pros who can recommend a good introductory firearms class to get you up to speed.
DO NOT get a gun and assume ANYTHING.

If you read the whole article it points out the Reagan used the executive order a lot as have other Republicans. For instance this article points out that Bush is currently pushing oil development in Utah. If he does a lot more of this kind of thing, it will give the Dems a lot of cover to do the same themselves once they have the chance.

Are you sure those figures are correct? That is $40 per hour, I would love to work for that rate. Let’s see, 2 1/2 weeks work for $4,000, I’ll do it, I’ll do it.
