Racism will die when a white man and a black man can run for president and 95% of black voters select their candidate based on the issues.

I like Mr. Williams and agree with many things he has to say, but I totally disagree that those were “empty words”. They freed the slaves, and not just black ones. That is far from an empty act.
Attempting to say that prejudice wasn’t also wiped out so those things were empty words is demeaning to such a great accomplishment as ending legalized slavery in this country.
Blacks are just as responsible for their plight as any white man. They sold each other from Africa into slavery and once freed many continued to act as slaves and many others in later years acted badly. They still do.
I, as a white man, take no responsibility for slavery nor for blacks acting badly, therefore, I do not accept the “Proclamation of Amnesty and Pardon Granted to
All Persons of European Descent” by Walter Williams.
I understand why he thinks if all blacks followed his lead we could put aside this issue once and for all, but such a gesture cannot be made since it is based on falsehoods such as his quote from above and that all white today are guilty of slavery and all blacks are devoid of any blame for their current predicaments.

I don’t buy it.
IMO Obama is simply a marionette, performing as directed at the manipulation of his strings by his Socialist peers.
Obama’s history is simply a sign similar to “Eat at Joes” from the Depression era that states “Commie Black guy for sale”, and he was bought and paid for.
Perhaps Obama was whom “they” voted for, but it isn’t Obama that was elected IMO.

What the article actually says is idealistically correct...it should be over. Unfortunately, Black America (most - NOT ALL) is the only group to understand that prosperity is worked for and earned. This election will not do enough to motivate the Black Community. They will look for their Black Brother to give them hand outs. They still do not understand that the very intent of liberalism is keep groups like Black Americans under its heel, enslaved to a body politic found in the Democratic Party, that promulgates the welfare-class of people. I pity anyone that takes a handout solely because its there for the taking.
Tom Adkins is absolutely correct. Racist blackmail by blacks is over. After witnessing Obama’s racist church and watching the cheering fools in the congregation, we no longer have to watch what we say. None of us could come close to the racist hate of Obama’s church.

You are dead wrong, what we saw in this election was racism. Obama is totally unqualified, the ONLY reason he is where he is is solely because of race. Now we will see reverse racism: White people, white men in particular will pay massive reparations and will be roundly ushered to the back of the bus. Welcome to Amerikka, thank God, Jesus Christ is coming back and that the Obamessiah is mere man, walking dust.
