Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman is now just over 220 votes ahead of Democrat Al Franken in the race for the final available senate seat in America. While it would be easy to say, Well Coleman didnt vote for this bill or that bill, let him go this is defeatist, suicidal and sets back our fight to rebuild our conservative movement.
Coleman has a lifetime 73% American Conservative Union rating, substantially larger than the voters of Minnesota, but not the American people deserve.
Minnesotas other senator, Amy Klobucher shows us what Franken would be like. Klobuchers lifetime American Conservative Union rating is 4%.
Franken would strive for and likely deserve a zero ACU rating then brag about it. Hed make Klobucher the house conservative.
Norm Colemans road back to Washington is getting steeper by the hour. There is credible evidence that the man doing the recount of Minnesotas votes is a tool of ACORN.
Mark Ritchie the Minnesota Secretary of State is a Democrats Democrat. He was endorsed in 2006 by these groups, each of whom hate conservatism and would make America a gray faceless Soviet socialist country when given the chance.
Minnesota ACORN Political Action Committee
American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME)
Education Minnesota
League of Young Voters/League of Pissed-Off Voters
Minnesota AFL-CIO
NARAL Pro-Choice Minnesota Election Fund
Planned Parenthood of Minnesota Political Action Fund
Progressive Action of Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin
Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Minnesota State Council
Southside Pride
Stonewall DFL
These groups will love Franken as well.
America and conservatism cant lose Norm Coleman.
He needs money for this recount. If each of us doesnt personally step up, its over and the socialists will steal this seat.
Any questions about what we have to do?

No anger here. But you have a HUGE memory issue, bucko. You picked a fight with me. Now you whine and cry like a little girl. You wimp!
I’m a big girl, a mature woman. Now you know the playing field, honey.
You can’t take, ‘eat your sour grapes’ and point to my #66.
Look, if you can't take the heat of debate, stay away from FR. You want to act like a butinski troll -— you face the consequences. Simple as that.

What’s Norm doing about it? Is he calling them cheaters? Will he champion election reform?
I can’t believe Bush did nothing about election reform, he’s left us twisting in the wind.
I remember in the 2000 recount much was discussed about the specialty in law of election law. FOX interviewed a democrat election law specialist and he said the theory to overturn an election is simple. You keep counting the votes until you get the effect you want, then you declare victory and stop the count. It looks like this is what Franken is doing.
What is your definition of a butinski troll?
Define it, please.
Well, my post #61 says otherwise. Coleman is not as conservative as I am, but he IS reliably conservative more often than not. He is certainly MORE conservative than your typical run of the mill RINO like Olympia Snowe or Arnold Schwarekennedy. It's pretty sad that the purists on FR feel the need to label solidly pro-life, pro-gun, pro-family, pro-WOT candidates "RINOs" and lump them in with actual RINOs. When you purists do that, you just make the real RINOs look better because they can go "of course so-and-so conservative hates me, but so and so conservative also claims John Roberts and Hyde Hyde were liberals, so I must be doing something right."
When 20 different organizations devoting to conservative issues say Norm Coleman votes with them 80-90% of the time, I'll take their word over yours.
Yes, I'm aware Coleman was a Democrat two decades ago. What's your point? Norm's been a Republican longer than Reagan was when Reagan was re-elected Governor of California. When Norm WAS a Democrat mayor, he was a constant thorn in the side of his fellow Democrats because he endorsed Republicans and was quite vocal in his pro-life and pro-family beliefs (again as noted in my post #61). I have to wonder if all the conservatives here whining about Norm being a former Democrat were hesitant to endorse the far more liberal "John Kennedy" for U.S. Senator from Louisiana when he "joined" the GOP a few monthes ago and had been a committed Clintonite for years. Do I smell hypocrisy?
Gotta love freepers who scream that Senators who agree with them 80% of the time are dirty filthy RINOs, while rooting for socialists who agree with them 5% (::cough:: Lieberman ::cough:: ) of the time and encouraging them to "join" the GOP.
With friends like that, who needs enemies?
Look, if you can't take the heat of debate, stay away from FR. You want to act like a butinski troll - you face the consequences. Simple as that.
You are the troll. How much did ACORN pay you to troll this board?
LOL You’re certified insane.
You Coleman supporters need a reality check.
2006 should’ve been a wake up call. 2008 should be the last straw. Conservatives have to work to purge ALL the RINOs, liberals and most of the left leaning moderate-centrists out of the GOP, ahead of the 2010 and 2012 election cycles, or else we Republicans face even more loses. If Coleman can’t beat Franken, he doesn’t deserve to be in the Senate. Period. And comparing Coleman in any way to Reagan is an insult to the Gipper’s legacy.
Btw, Coleman was a Democrat, a member of the Farm Labor Party just 12 years ago. Not two decades!
The idea of Al Franken as my state senator, by stealing an election, is insane.
“They cut off her funding when she expressed concern about b.Hussien’s anti-American tendencies.”
That’s as good a disconnect as I need for the RNC and Bush and McPain. Anyone that is not in lock step with the RNC and Bush is on my favorable list. Bush with the “Patriot Act” and “Homeland Security” has handed the enemies of freedom in this country a great weapon. His bailout boy in the FED is probably going to help by weakening our banking system until the Government takes over another portion of our lives.

Here we go, trying to explain the same facts to you and other defeatists over and over.
This was NOT a head-to-head contest of Coleman vs. Franken. There was a third party candidate, Dean Barkley, who is nothing but a Jesse Ventura stooge and handmaiden, on the Independence Party who siphoned votes disproportionately from Coleman. RATS always vote for RATS, you see.
Furthermore, there was a damned Libertarian candidate who siphoned yet another 14,000 votes from Coleman.
Accordingly, it is grossly unfair to malign Norm as being unable to defeat Franken when he wasn’t offered a head-to-head contest. Norm had three opponents, not one. The irony of the stupidity of otherwise well-meaning, nice people in Minnesota is that for anyone who voted for the Independence or Libertarian candidate, Franken was their LAST choice. Maybe - just maybe - people will think twice next time about throwing away their vote.
Norm deserves re-election on the basis of exposing the corrupt UN oil for food program ALONE.
Fight back. If you can contribute, I am going to ask Minneapolis Steve to give us the various websites and addresses. In state Minnesotans can give to the State party $50 or $100 and get a full refund.
More strategically, we have got to do something about these damned Libertarian candidates. They are costing us Senate seats from coast to coast over the past decade.
He's certainly no Snowe or Collins, whose lifetime ACU ratings are between 49 and 52 percent.
And he's as good a friend as unborn children have.
Steve,
I am publicly asking you to please post the website and mailing addresses of any groups that can financially aid Coleman against the recount cheating.
It is my understanding that in-state Minnesota residents can gift $50 (individual) or $100 (couple) to the State party and that this gift is not only fully reimbursed within 60 days, it can be used by the State party to help with Norm’s legal fees.
Please advise all options for MN and non-MN citizens.
Thanks
The problem for the last two elections has been the public has associated all the economic problems as the fault of Republicans when, in fact, the dems opposition was the true cause.

True. Coleman kept his word about Alaskan drilling. However, he also was one of the lone voices that called for truth in the Oil for Food UN scandal.
Do you honestly think the media will report honestly once all the Republicans are gone?
>>>>>Accordingly, it is grossly unfair to malign Norm as being unable to defeat Franken ...
No its not! LOL Its absolutely fair. Now stop whining and get back on your meds.
Bush has been President for the last eight years and for most of that time the GOP controlled Congress. Aside from tax cuts, on domestic issues Republicans did very little while in power. Very disappointing. For most of that time Republicans were highly negligent in their duties to the people and they totally abandoned the conservative agenda. They allowed spending to increase, deficits to soar and a doubling of the national debt. Bush&Company expanded the federal bureaucracy more than at any time since the Great Society and attempted to shove amnesty down our throats.
Even with all the charges and counter charges and all the finger pointing, Americans decided they wanted to wipe the slate clean. They threw out the bums in 2006 and rejected the GOP standard bearer in 2008 because they rejected President Bush. Those are the historic facts. Like’m or not.
