I was going to watch tonight, but the thought of listening to Colmes made me leave the tv off. Decided to scratch my nails up and down a chalkboard instead.

I saw Chris Matthews (tv at the tire store) talking about this today and he and his guests were actually more fair and balance than O’Really & Cameron. They actually had some nice things to say about her.

Alan used to be OK, but no more. I usually switch channels when he comes on.
I think lately that there are those that would like GOP to stand for “Get Out, Palin”.
So what? That’s a big problem with the Republican Party. Nominating someone because “it’s their turn”, rather than nominating the person who has the best chance of winning. That’s how we got Dole, and later his twin brother McCain. The dems meanwhile didn’t nominate Hillary even though it was “her turn” and instead went with the person they thought had the better chance of winning.
Republicans can learn a valuable lesson from this.

Y'know, Colmes is also a bit of a hypocrite. He had a serious case of hemorrhoids a year or so ago, and instead of a regular doctor he went to a well known Televangelist. The preacher put his hand on Colmes's head, looked skyward and prayed : "Dear Lord, heal... Heal... HEAL this asshole."
