Don’t tell me I don’t know what I am talking about!!!
Bush has nothing to do with the hiring or firing of teachers. Do you think he is even aware of this video? I doubt it. It is up to us the public who are paying for this BS to confront the school boards and the teachers unions and hold them accountable. It is not President Bush’s job and to think so is to support a nanny government. The education departments in many cities need an overhaul, but we the taxpayers and parents of students should be out there demanding and threatening if this nonsense isn’t stopped. In my city any number of talk show radio hosts will bring up incidents like this and it does get action. I have a number of teachers in my family and believe me getting bad teachers fired is next to impossible, but they can be publicly embarrassed. Run for the school board, get in their face at meetings. Our gloves should have come off, we should have demanded more and better from our representatives. Its real easy to blame President Bush, just ask the DUmmies.

I don’t understand this. I thought that it was illegal for a teacher to tell their students who they were voting for. At least that is what my child’s teacher told my child. However, someone asked my child’s principal who they were voting for and the principal said, “Obama.” I’m just wondering what’s legal and what’s not here.

From the foreign language in that clip it looks like this is from a Swedish TV program.
Makes sense, coming from the wonderful people who brought you Gunnar Myrdal, practically the inventor of liberal white guilt.
Sigh...and I thought the Swedes were finally waking up from the slumber of socialism.

I’ve sent an email demanding a public apology to this little girl posted in the newspaper & on the schools web site, as well as a personal apology to the child. I also want Diantha Harris fired. I am demanding it. Let’s all demand it. I’m also sending this story to my local newspaper & television stations. Unfortunately, this is the kind of behavior we should have woke up to long ago. Now our children are brainwashed and brow-beat into submission. Stand up now for all kids!

My letter to the principal:
I just witnessed the disgusting display of Diantha Harris as she first browbeat children who expressed their support for Sen. John McCain and then denied doing so. Please do a service to the children and parents in your school by dismissing her immediately and hiring a teacher who is actually deserving of the title. I actually cried for those poor children when I saw what heavy-handed indoctrination they have to endure. Please, for the children, replace her.
(I just had to throw that bit in about “for the children”)

My brother is on his 5th tour right now and his biggest problems have actually been dealing with wives, girlfriends and criminals - all stateside.
OTOH, here in my hometown, in the last week, both a cop (who happened to live in my neighborhood) and a firefighter were murdered in cold blood. The cop was sitting in his squad car, the fireman stopped to help a carjacking victim.
Anyone can die anytime doing good. We have to remember that.

The teacher waited for them to finish their candy. This was what she had been trained for, and she knew that she would teach her children well and that they would grow up to be good citizens. She looked out of the window, at the sun over the land. It was a good land, and vast. A land to breathe in. But she was warmed not by the sun but by the thought that throughout the school and throughout the land all children, all men and all women were being taught with the same faith, with variations of the same procedures. Each according to his age group. Each according to his need.
She glanced at her watch....
It was 9:23.

Bush has let the education system get so out of hand that its just downright scarey. These teachers are so brazen theyre doing this stuff out in the open now. No, it is YOU who has let this occur. Do you go to school board meetings? Do you demand getting rid of the teachers unions and tenure? Do you vote in school board elections and do you actually know the positions of the people you are voting for? Do you get out and work for the candidates who would act to get rid of scum like this teacher? I am going to guess the answer is no. If you do not like it, get off your butt and start working to get rid of the problem. Here is a little video for you to watch to see how it is done. http://www.reason.tv/video/show/60.html

Dont tell me I dont know what I am talking about!!! Say something intelligent and I won't.
Bush has nothing to do with the hiring or firing of teachers. Wow, did you figure that one out all by yourself? George Wallace didn't either. The Kennedy administration came swooping down on him like flies on your arguement. They made it so Black kids could attend schools. The Bush administration's job was to make sure Republicans could too. We'd like to seem some of them employed in them.
Do you think he is even aware of this video? I doubt it. It is up to us the public who are paying for this BS to confront the school boards and the teachers unions and hold them accountable. It is not President Bushs job and to think so is to support a nanny government. So you resolution to civil rights problems in the 60s would be for Blacks to confront the school boards, the teacher's unions and hold them accountable. Is that about it? And you now label it a nanny government because it took troops to force Wallace to allow Blacks into school? And you don't want me to call your arguements for what they are?
The education departments in many cities need an overhaul, but we the taxpayers and parents of students should be out there demanding and threatening if this nonsense isnt stopped. NO! You are wrong. This goes way beyond what parents can control and you should know that. These schools are owned lock stock and barrel by leftists. These teachers aren't doing this in a vaccum. They are doing it because they know they can get away with it. And if you think good upstanding families should put their chidlren's lives in danger, their homes in danger and parents in danger, so they can try to get peope who are abusing the civil rights of Conservatives out of their schools, your are stark raving nuts.
In my city any number of talk show radio hosts will bring up incidents like this and it does get action. I have a number of teachers in my family and believe me getting bad teachers fired is next to impossible, but they can be publicly embarrassed. Read your own comments here. They are laughable. "It's next to impossible to get them fired, but they can be embarrassed." Honestly, you make your case then shoot it down. You agree with me, but evidently think this is a great subject to argue about. Let me tell you something, if Republicans ruled the roost in our education system like the leftists do, it wouldn't be ten minutes before the ACLU would be involved. It wouldn't be seven days before the Justice Department would be involved. It would be 48 hours before every leftist in your city was marching in the street and destroying cars. Why is it I have to mention these things to you? You know it.
You are the quintessential person who thinks we should just do what we can and give up. We'll embarass them. That will fix it. B.S. It's time to play hardball. If you haven't noticed that's what the other side has been playing for decades.
Run for the school board, get in their face at meetings. Our gloves should have come off, we should have demanded more and better from our representatives. Its real easy to blame President Bush, just ask the DUmmies. Look damn it, this is a federal dollars program. Those are public funds, and the federal government is the entitiy that is tasked with making sure there is a level playing field out there. Race is a civil right issue, but so is a reasoned equity of fairness in the schools. This isn't an isolated incident. It's happening everywhere. And why should you and I have to tell our Attorney General what the hell is going on, on his watch? Why shoudl I have to tell the President that 90% of our university professors are stark raving nut anarchists?
How the hell do people like Angela Davis, Bill Ayers, Ward Churchill and so many others get tenure at these schools? Are there no hiring standards whatsoever?

No one commented on the “100 years” statement. What was it that McCain ACTUALLY said? Someone ought to shove McCain’s actual statement in her face, cuz I KNOW he didn’t say that! Just can’t remember exactly what he said. Help!

I believe behavior such as hers is just the beginning of what we will soon see from the Afros. I’ve already had two disagreements (to put it lightly) with these fair people and I’m sixty years old!
