Apparently, the first dog is not happy about the impending changes at the White House.

Today, Barney bit a reporter outside the briefing room. The whole incident was caught on tape by another reporter, April D. Ryan.
Reuters political reporter Jon Decker had finished an interview with MSNBC around 10:30 a.m. when he saw Barney and his handler. After getting permission to pet the dog, Decker said Barney snapped and chomped down on his right index finger and broke the skin.
Decker said his first reaction was, "that's not good."
Decker said he was treated with a bandage and some antibiotics and was asked to return for a tetanus shot Friday. He has not gotten any calls from the White House.
God Love Barney! I hope the asshat reporter gets rabies.
OH NOES! I hope Barney will be OK!
LOL! The rabies was my first thought.
Dogs aren’t stupid, they know that spurious “bi-partisanship” doesn’t pay. Nor does making nice with the enemedia.
Poor Barney! I hope he doesn’t get distemper from that media scum.
Barney “gets it” about the MediaScum much better than his Master.
Here Boy. Good Boy!
I’d give Barney a tetanus shot.
A little bit of mirth to ease our minds of reality...
What a smart dog.
Dogs have a 6th sense...”Danger”....
Good for Barney.
I hope he got a good bit of hamburger
That deserves a treat, good dog!!!! ( something to wash poor Barneys mouth out)
I want the name of his breeder, immediately! I want one!
What was the moose thing?
God love little Barney. He would never bite the hand that feeds him. He was just protecting his territory, I'm sure.
I think we all ought to send Barney a package of dog biscuits or Snausages or something like that. A dog like that deserves plenty of treats from grateful Americans.
Good boy! Give Barney a nice big steak!
Laura Bush said that Barney must be tired of the paparazzi. I hope Barney doesn’t get sick from the bite.
First of all, one should never pet an animal if the animal does not know you. The dog clearly was not wagging its tail, which is a sign that it's not in the mood for play.
Second, a pet is a reflection of its owner. Sometimes, animals can exhibit behavior that is reflective of its master. Given the grave news that is sweeping America right now, I would probably bite the finger of some pompous, @sshole democrat if he tried to poke me right now.
Hopefully Barney won't get rabies from that guy.
Hamburger? Porterhouse steak for that one......
