I propose that we punish the FOX Network for its hatchet job on Sarah Palin.
For one week beginning at 3:00 PM today no one tunes them in. We will demonstrate the power of conservatives when their ratings plummet dramatically.
Will you join me?

but I dont need to ALWAYS agree with someone to appreciate a balanced approach. You see, that is the problem, there is no 'balanced approach' there is only right and wrong.

That isn't news, that is gossip.
A very large percentage of political reporting is sourced on gossip. The problem here is not Fox - it's the former McCain campaign workers trying to smear Palin.

Baby, I don’t mean to rain on your parade, but many have been boycotting FOX for ages. Yes, I will continue to boycott in your honor...no sarcasm intended. I am proud of you and all of us who are weaning from TV.

thats a crazy high number for an allegedly conservative TV channel. Conservative TV channel? Are you serious?
They have never claimed to be a Conservative outlet.
Rather they claim "fair and balanced".
There is no Conservative media outlet on television and never will be.

That is why the McCain people leaked it, they knew it would get reported and since FOX is considered 'conservative' it would get more weight.
Conservatives need to boycott anything associated with compromising with the Obama administration.
This is how the American Revolution began, by boycotting British goods.

Fox News was smearing Palin on Tuesday night, and it had nothing to do with anything Mccain campaign workers had said - Steve Schmidt may have refused to say what he thought of Palin that evening, but as soon as Fox News called it for Obama, they began destroying Palin on the air. While I agreed with some of the criticisms, they went way too far, given the timing.

I stopped watching since Monday the 3rd.
Feels so GREAT!
The problem is I am not a Neilson ratings home.
They won’t know most of us don’t watch.
Unless you have a neilson box your ratings or non-ratings don’t count.
(My sister used to be a Neilson home so I know)
We need to let them know in other ways we are not watching.

Oh forgot to add, I stopped watching ALL TV news stations. Fox is just one of them.
My life is so nice without the talking heads spinning their crap.
But again, how will they know?

My question is this: WHY WHY WHY would Carl Cameron report all that gobbly gook about Sarah Palin AFTER the election is over and she has been defeated??? A scurrilous like attack. A reputable news organization should not report such locker room jabber.
To: jinglethosekeyes
It’s all about the money.

You are exactly the type of person who should be watching Fox, a dumba**. It appears that’s the demographic they’re going for. Enjoy Fox and enjoy you’re, hopefully, short stay here.

leaks slamming Palin from McCain-campaign backbiters are ugly and unnecessary, but they're news I beg to differ on what the definitions of news is to you. Reporting and continuing to investigate Obama's connections is news! Something that should of been done last year.
Not Gov. Palin in a bath-robe, that just pisses me off! What kind of crap is that!

Fox's election night ratings were below ABC. Screw them too. I have watched very little since their recent maniacal swerve left.
Good Riddance!!! Sell that to your advertisers, FOX! You CANNOT be counted on!!!!!!!!!

Unless you have a Nielson box , how are they going to know we aren’t watching? They need to be hit in the pocketbook. We need a list of advertisers and email addresses, headquarters addresses and phone numbers. The advertisers are the ones who will do something. Not watching won’t.
