This is going to be fun. All eyes are on the Democrats. Let us see how long it is before this falls apart.

They should work it out with a duel. Shotguns at 15 feet.

Only if you think that hitting your big toe with a hammer is "fun".

We called in the painters, and they've started tearing down walls and remodeling!

We don’t need Californians setting energy policy.

What an unmitigated disaster that would be for the country.

Barak is already pretty stupid for saying we shouldn’t build coal plants. I take the idiot at his word, but I know that is subject to change depending on who is writing the check.

There is nothing quite so delicious as vicious bifactionalism. Heads will roll. In politics, it is akin to civil wars.

I saw this on Beacon Hill in Boston years ago. It was quite a hoot as the governor’s office(Dukakis) was at endless war with the legislature(more than 70% Democrats).

Hah!

Dingell, on the other hand, has been a longtime supporter of the Big 3 auto companies. He succeeded for years in fending off congressional attempts to require higher fuel efficiency from U.S. vehicles.

The wheels on the bus go bump, bump. bump.

Henry Waxman is too busy to be on a committee. Two of his constituents have been waiting two years for a reply to this letter (and a dozen similar ones):
The Honorable Henry A. Waxman
United States House of Representatives
2204 Rayburn House Office Building
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Congressman Waxman,

Please excuse us for writing to you at this late date, almost 4 years since the events we will describe. Through the years we have tried many other ways to seek remedy, but all avenues proved fruitless. We beg the assistance of your office, as United States citizens and residents of the 30th congressional district.

Our only child, Gregory, was on a business trip to Moscow in October of 2002. While on this trip he took a break from work and relaxed as a spectator at the popular Russian musical, ‘Nord-Ost’, in a theater on Dubrovka Street in Moscow. On the night he was in attendance, Chechen rebels seized him and over 800 other hostages, and held them in a standoff that lasted almost 3 days. To end the hostage crisis, the Russian authorities availed themselves to a secret gas based on Fentanyl... (SNIP)
No call or letter from an aide or even an intern. Henry is simply too busy attending to the needs of Agoura Hills, Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Westlake Village, Pacific Palisades, West Hills, Canoga Park, Bel-Air, Century City, Westwood, Brentwood, Topanga, Chatsworth, Woodland Hills, Beverlywood and West Los Angeles.

The senate is going to throw Mr. KKK himself under the bus.

Or push him down the stairs, Chicago style.
