The effort within the McCain campaigns upper ranks to pin Sen. John McCains loss of the presidential election on Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is now in full swing, and Fox News Carl Cameron eagerly plays the gossip columnist.
On Fox Report last night with Shephard Smith, Cameron said he learned during the campaign that many within the McCain team were concerned that Palin lacked the degree of knowledgeability to be a heartbeat away from the presidency but agreed not to report the details until the after the election.
Cameron is trying for a top spot on TMZ.
He needs to get over that, because he received a nice jump in numbers when he picked Sarah.
If the country clubbers succeed in effectively running this woman out of the party I will be right behind her & you can have the whole shootin’ match.
Amen.
McCain was drawing "crowds" the size of roadside hot dog carts...
Meanwhile, Palin was drawing rock-star crowds.
The loser McCainites and RINO "moderates" can pound salt.
I blame the folks who are doing the talking from McCains camp.. to blame her, on their dismally run campaign is slimy and disgusting.
Palin. Half of America loved her, half of America couldn’t stand her, and it was mostly due to her accent. It’s a shame.
I just had to shut someone up a work who was still going on about her.. I told her to “give it a rest”, which is about the strongest you can get at work.. and she said, “you just don’t understand how much we hate her”.... this is a woman I really like and would call a good person. But she is a true believer, something which I am not.
As for her running for Prez in 2012, I think it would be a huge mistake.. You will not get over 50 % with that kind of constant humiliation and hatred.
I’m hoping Bobby Jindal will run...
They breed like flies, and are very nearly as intelligent! ;)
What a wonderful letter!
Amen to what you said. Governor Palin and Governor Jindal are the future, not the lame a** sell out Mitt types.
Yes, Cameron gleefully reported that yesterday, but I don't believe it for a minute. For Fox News, it was a despicable smear job of unsubstantiated innuendo. I despise Shep and I despise Cameron.
Does anyone actually believe that Palin doesn't know Africa is a continent?
I posted on FR last night that Bobby Jindel was trashing her last week and that means I am through with him too.
If McCain does know of this it is very strange that he would trash his running mate but won't say jack about any Dem/lib/Scum like Rev. Wright, Kerry, Gore, Reid, Pelosi....
I have not been watching any of the networks not even FOX since the morning after the election and I won't watch them..I am sick of them all and all their lies or half truths..they can all go to hell and stay there and take their golden boy with them.. I really will be laughing when the people that voted for the Muslim wakes up to the fact of what his plans are for this country..and when all of his friends like Wright,Farrakhan.Ayers, etc are invited to our house..
Sarah Palin was the one bright spot from either party.
Without her McCain would have suffered an even larger defeat.
First of all, if he doesn't want to accept blame for the debacle himself, he already has Bush sitting there to pile all the blame on. He could also, accurately, dump a pile on a 95% media bias against his party.
Secondly, why would he even bother? It's not like he's going to go for the nomination again. He's a million years old with a hundred houses. He can't possibly have any new ambitions. It's time to relax.
I'm sure this assault is coming from the people who want to affect the nomination next time around and correctly assume that the first thing they need to do is to take down Palin.
These people worked for the McCain campaign but now have returned to some old loyalties. They are mixing in some facts with some fables to try to discredit her. They are looking at the next campaign and already picking their horse.
Those candidates are willing participants in this and are no doubt encouraging these scum to poison the well on their way out of the McCain/Palin campaign.
Those people are Romney, Guiliani, Huckabee, and others.
Fox News CEO Roger Ailes crowed about the Bush DUI scoop in a recent Op-Ed in the Wall Street Journal, where he fended off criticism of FNC’s news standards. And this week, FNC’s chief political correspondent, Carl Cameron, made the same point to the New York Observer, which noted that he “was the reporter who broke the Bush D.U.I. story.” Said Cameron: “My relationships with Republicans in the 2000 campaign didn’t stop Fox from reporting the D.U.I. story that Karl Rove said cost George Bush the popular vote.”

This is an early salvo from the liberal Republican establishment to take out the Conservatives - absolutely shameful!
I sure would like to know the source.
Well, these McCain staffers are just follow the lead of their master, they’re being mavericks.
I’d believe this scenario far more than the “she’s an idiot” crap that’s out there!!
