Vanities used to be well thought out, researched and/or funny and somewhat rare. Now the vanities consist of whatever crap pops in someone's head and they are drowning out whatever news is being posted.
I'm not the forum police, but please add you're rant, joke or pearl of wisdom to an ongoing thread.

You people are childish. Kristinn’s point is well-taken except for the babies around here who think they are so important as is what they say.
There is a section for vanities. It’s listed on the right under personal/blogging.
Did you post one of these to everyone else or just to me?
I know just how much Kristinn has done and how much time he has put into our causes, but quite frankly it isn’t his job to tell anyone not to post vanities, that’s the job of someone that has the power to lock or pull them....

We need to stop this emptiness, and begin regrouping.
In the 4 years i have lived in the USA, and the 28 of my existence, Republicans have dominated politics,
Occasionally, we have a democrat in power, to remind us of the free nation that we are, and will always be.
Believe me, “they” are watching us, they are looking for signs of weakness and discord, and we must not show it,
We must speak as one, and unite the entire GOP.
And if we do? We have 4 years to plan this well.

These vanities have been driving me crazy for weeks, not to mention slowing down the servers.
I have not seen a single vanity where the author said anything that could not have been said in a post. FR is not a chat room or a blog regardless of what some think.
