Carl Cameron just said McCain campaign shocked to discover Sarah Palin did not realize Africa was a continent, believing instead that it was a country. She did not know the countries in NAFTA. She refused offered preparation for the Couric interview and threw temper tantrums over adverse press.
Wow. Dumping on Sarah in a big way. Shep asked how on Earth the McCain camp could have ended up picking such a dope (not exact words, but sense of what he said).
They did point out she seemed to help the polling numbers.
I knew this was going to be the template, but I was surprised at the level of nastiness on Fox News. Looks like elements of the McCain campaign is determined to make her the scapegoat for the loss. (Couldn't have been anything about the man at the top of the ticket.)
Fox News: Palin didn't know Africa was a continent You Tube
I’m done with the rich white boys running the show.
Otherwise known as RINOs.
Why were they a lethal threat to Mitt Romney?
that Romney-the-Venal had to muster hate through his hive to destroy the 2008 Election for Conservatives (like you now)?
Thanks for correcting that. It was O'Reilly's opinion, not FOX news.
If it’s the Romney folks , good luck getting the nom in 2012, it’s not like he had any chance of getting it anyways without these attacks, so their people really have nothing to lose lol
bastards!
Well aren't you just special. I will tell you that my IQ is 141 and I believe Sarah Palin's to be higher than that. What you posted has no actual basis in fact but is your private opinion. I have given my opinion about Sarah's IQ, and now I will give mine about yours. It is probably about 97 and that is a high side estimate.
Follow the money and look to see where some of these guys land in the next weeks and months.
Fox did NOT say that, it was O'Reilly who just happens to work for FOX. Like it or not, FOX is the only news outlet that at least tries to present the right side along with the left. No network is without flaws, but I'll take FOX over all the rest anytime!
Well, thank God, they didn't try to put the final nail in the coffin by saying that her Bathrobe was from Wal-mart.
I can assure you that Palin brought in more than votes - she brought in the volunteers and the cash. When you look at her 3 stops a day in the final 4 weeks of the campaign, you would've seen 5-25k in attendance every time. I saw McCain on a Monday in Kettering, OH (near Dayton) and he barely had 2k - and that was mostly school kids who got to cut class to see him (event was at a school). Then the following Wednesday, saw Palin in Chillicothe, OH (middle of nowhere) it was 35 degrees outside and I was one of the 5000 people standing outside to see her in the cold.
Volunteer numbers pre-Palin were abysmal. When Palin came along, the diehard volunteers showed up - homeschoolers, pro-lifers, and former military. See for as much as Republicans like to bash the social conservatives, they wouldn't have a party without them, as they are the fuel to the grassroots that elects Republicans all up and down the ballot.
No. Only when the tornado sirens start going off. (We're in OK.)
I'm reminded of Barack Obama's opponent in 2004; although he did deserve to lose, his nomination was designed to denigrate, rather than promote, conservatism.
Go Jindal, that’s what I say. Look, the fact that the party and the conservative movement is having this conversation about Palin shows how weak Palin is. Remember, what we need is a smart genuine conservative who can communicate to swing voters (by the way, Romney is NOT a conservative).
Let’s stop dwelling on the past, and look to the future!
I am hearing it is Steve Schmidt and Nicole Wallace.
Palin is not weak. She is a female Reagan.
Yes the same thing happened in CA - volunteers came in droves after Palin came along. And donations starting pouring in. Prior to Palin, NOTHING.
McCain NEVER ever attracted huge crowds - until Palin came on the scene - then crowds EXPLODED.
I totally agree. This is infuriating me. I can't believe even some Freepers are falling for this. I thought we didn't BELIEVE the media's lies?????
Does anyone know how we can contact Gov. Palin via email or snail mail?
I don't know, I happen to enjoy "America's Newsroom" with Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelley in the morning. I think they are able to report all the news perhaps with a lighter hand.
