PHOENIX PROJECT, rising from the ashes of an Obamanation.

Okay, McCain is history. No surprise here.

We are now all in the resistance in an Obamanation.

We know too well the Marxist wellsprings from which this phenomenon was drawn, and only an idealist fool would consider giving him months of unquestioning support.

We must start now and do some things regularly. Record what Obama has said, how he has changed what he says, and what he does. Keep tabs on what Pelosi and the Senate are doing. Disseminate the information on what is really happening, getting the truth to our cohorts and to the American public. The media will be doing a lot of spin and cover up. Peacefully assemble regularly with signs that voice our dissent, hopefully written with a sense of humor or a wry poke at his inflated ego. Network with each other and support each other. Develop a schedule for our own personal mental, spiritual, physical and economic health.

As before we will have factions fighting with each other over the best course, but I personally want mostly to network with those who can manage to refrain from looking back with anger. I want to work with and help out those who wish to go forward with a sense of humor, love of God, and some tough pragmatism as well as love of the ideals and principles on which our country was founded.

It's too late for recriminations. And my personal belief is that, far from seeing the public waken to the mistake they have made, we will see measures (like Acorn, loss of union secret ballots, Fairness Doctrine, outlawing home schooling, IRS harrassment, etc.) that will silence dissent and wrap the American public more firmly than ever in Marxist brainwashing by the MSM, the entertainment Gestapo, and the leftist school teacher and professors Pied Piper conspiracy, all funded with money from Foundations they will continue to subvert.

If we don't network, if we don't treat each other with love and respect, then our resistance will lose before we begin.

Perhaps we should take inspiration from Ronald Reagan who sought to defeat Communism by exploiting the weakness of the philosophy.

We need to plan for an overwhelming build up of promoting conservatism in the next four year so that they won't know what hit them. We need to devote time and money as never before to save our nation with an all out fight.

About Reagan's response to communism:

“What struck Reagan about Communism was its weakness. ... He believed that policies of peaceful coexistence -- or of passively containing the Soviet Union -- would be disastrous.... They practiced “salami slice” tactics of intimidation and bluff to gain marginal advantages that would eventually accumulate to a victory in the Cold War or allow the Communists to win a final showdown. Reagan sought to turn the tables on Moscow and its allies by advocating an all-out fight against the growing encroachment of Communism in this nation and throughout the world.

“By all-out fight, Reagan did not mean military action, although if that was required of the United States in particular circumstances—e.g., Korea, Vietnam—the United States should have fought to win. The key front in the Cold War, in Reagan's assessment, was actually the Soviet economy. Marxism was a materialist philosophy, and its chief claim to practical allegiance around the world was its supposed ability to produce economic plenty (and thereby, social justice). In fact, Reagan believed that democracy and capitalism had decisive, natural advantages over totalitarian systems and centrally-planned economies.”

We can try to use our information on what Congress and the new president are doing to keep the public informed. There is always the hope that the public will vote differently in the future if we can get information to them.

And if we don’t preserve the information, how can anyone write a history later?

So, in order to get more Republicans/conservatives in office in 2010, we need to identify those districts most suseptible to changing their minds, and concentrate on registration activities there and getting information to them.

But that will need to wait till we have some evidence that Obama and the Dem Congress are blowing it.

The immediate problem is how to keep the Marxist government we now have from turning our economy into a socialist economy?

I thought they were singing the Marseilles in that photo.

Beethoven’s Fifth is, as you know, Morse for V.

Disseminate the information on what is really happening

How? One of the first things it to remove all negative to Obama from radio, TV, and MSN. It is way over half done now, and his first executive order will probably be that and guns. Remember now, with the Senate majority, he will be a dictator.

They are. Its the scene where Henried starts it to drown out Veidt and the Germans singing “Die Wacht am Rhein”.

Oh, I know what the three shorts and a long is. That’s why I posted all of them.

Its time to form the Resistance.

Guarantee it won’t take long for the RATs to start blowing it in Congress — can you say 401K’s up first?

We need to look at Congressional districts that we should have won with the right candidates and concentrate on those IMO.

Yes, that is the main problem we are going to have.

We may have to do it by passing out leaflets at Walmart or our churches or door to door, if we can’t get FOX News to pick up a story.

“how to keep the Marxist government we now have from turning our economy into a socialist economy”

It is imperitve that we do everything we can to stop them from ruining our health care system. That is a priority.

We need to swamp the lines in the capital and have massive protests to shut the government down if need be to stop the fairness doctrine from killing talk radio, from declaring defeat in Iraq and abandoning the people there.

Sounds good.

Do you have any particular districts in mind or do you want to do some asking around?

Can we let the anger run its course?

I'm willing to do something although I haven't' figured out what. A few things that were noticeable here in MO:

Many districts, both congressional and state, went uncontested with an incumbent democrat. I understand that people don't want their private lives dissected or death threats, but this has to go. In my district, the congresscritter is so enshrined that no one has a shot against him. I get that, but there should at least be somebody to run.

The Obama people were VERY organized at the polls. This isn't the first election I've seen that, either. I live in a very leftist part of the world and for every election, they have "comfort kits" for the people working the polls. Today, they walked around offering food and drink to the people standing in line for over two hours. Somehow, we need to be as organized and appear to be just as compassionate. And dress better.

The candidate's website needs to be set up better. I never could figure out where McCain's office closest to me is. That should have been readily available on the website.

We cannot be afraid. I'll admit I didn't' put a sticker on my car for fear of vandalism (nevermind the resale value). Now we can do window stickers or something with pro-life messages, Semper Fi (for those of us with family who are Marines), etc. We're not giving in.

And seriously, as we are headed for economic collapse if taxes are raised and the cuts rescinded (and if the moratorium on off-shore drilling is reinstated), hoard your money in something other than the stock market - like solvent banks. Don't participate in the economy if it's such a big issue.

There are things to be done. I'd be willing to be on "comfort committees" for the polls, but it's got to be really organized. That seems to be a big problem. Since we are all working, having time to meet is not easy.

Please, prepare yourselves as we undertake the trials ahead.

Some skills and knowledge we need.

More very useful information

Consider yourselves all Boy/Girl Scouts and "Be Prepared".

Launching anything of this magnitude will require that we have the provisions and skills that will give us the tenacity to succeed.

No tinfoil hats, no kool-aid - just solid preparedness for whatever comes.

I love the optimism. We need to stand for what we believe in. Let this be a good lesson, conservatives don’t have the luxury of being diplomatic or neutral about important issues. Truth, facts and logic are all we have. Had the truth been spread with as much fervor as Obama’s lies, well tomorrow would be a different day. We don’t need the media to be our mouthpiece, we need to show by example why we stand for our beliefs.

Time to roll up our sleeves and figure out a strategy for winning seats back in 2010.

Think it is time to think about all of us concentrating on becoming a 527 or a PAC and look for good candidates to run that can WIN!

You see how BO in 2 years has brought corruption never seen in our lifetime to the election process.

Sure it existed in Chicago and has ever since the 1930’s, but not in the US as a whole.

If he could accomplish that in 2 years, what do you think the voting process will be like in 4 years?

You can make the public mad as you want. So they go to the polls and then what?

Between the corruption and the same idiots that voted for him this time, good luck.

As for the people that voted for him, you will never ever change them. They would vote lib if they saw the candidate barbecue that aborted baby.

Think shiskabob.

The conservative movement is dead unless we have some terrible catastrophe that dramatically changes our part of the world.

Our best hope is that BO’s ego runs away with him and we find something earth shaking before the electoral college does their thing.
