Okay, McCain is history. No surprise here.
We are now all in the resistance in an Obamanation.
We know too well the Marxist wellsprings from which this phenomenon was drawn, and only an idealist fool would consider giving him months of unquestioning support.
We must start now and do some things regularly. Record what Obama has said, how he has changed what he says, and what he does. Keep tabs on what Pelosi and the Senate are doing. Disseminate the information on what is really happening, getting the truth to our cohorts and to the American public. The media will be doing a lot of spin and cover up. Peacefully assemble regularly with signs that voice our dissent, hopefully written with a sense of humor or a wry poke at his inflated ego. Network with each other and support each other. Develop a schedule for our own personal mental, spiritual, physical and economic health.
As before we will have factions fighting with each other over the best course, but I personally want mostly to network with those who can manage to refrain from looking back with anger. I want to work with and help out those who wish to go forward with a sense of humor, love of God, and some tough pragmatism as well as love of the ideals and principles on which our country was founded.
It's too late for recriminations. And my personal belief is that, far from seeing the public waken to the mistake they have made, we will see measures (like Acorn, loss of union secret ballots, Fairness Doctrine, outlawing home schooling, IRS harrassment, etc.) that will silence dissent and wrap the American public more firmly than ever in Marxist brainwashing by the MSM, the entertainment Gestapo, and the leftist school teacher and professors Pied Piper conspiracy, all funded with money from Foundations they will continue to subvert.
If we don't network, if we don't treat each other with love and respect, then our resistance will lose before we begin.
We are still of the faith, conservative and even more alert as to what we need to start doing tomorrow...planning how to overcome this evil at every turn.
For the past two weeks, I have been printing tons of articles about Obama. I want to preserve what we know about this man - what Free Republic has unearthed.
History will be rewritten; he will certainly not allow dissent. I want to have a record of history and what the public SHOULD HAVE KNOWN about this man before they voted.
My husband told me to just download the articles onto a disk, but I felt it was important to have hard copies, too.
I see no reason to give up our American flag to the enemy.
I will start displaying mine upside down, however.

We must also behave as you have so well described, in civil life. We may be losing significant facility in carrying out the civil responsibility of popular sovereigns, but we have lost none of the responsibility, itself.

I don't think the birth certificate will fly. It might, but there are people working on that already.

Pity the poor Iraqis. They are going to be left hung out to dry. Cambodia all over.
I’m going to get up tomorrow and get on with my life. It really sucks that we’re going to have Obama. But America WILL survive. And so will we. Look how the conservative movement was reborn under Clinton. I’ll be fighting Obama with every fiber of my being.

There will be no 2012 election atleast for the people.
No hope of stopping Obama from taking office.
But news will be restricted and truth will be buried or obfuscated, so I want us to make a point of preserving what we know now and what we learn later about events that will unfold in the future.

My point all along with the Patriot Act has been that a leftist president wouldn’t care whether it was legal or not, he’d do what he wanted to spy on his enemies.
Count me in! Reagan Revolution brought us back from Carter and his disaster. Now we start all over again!
We need to work toward winning some seats back in 2010 and getting back some Governor’s seats.
Do I think conservatives will be gassed?
No, of course not. But I am making the point that we should let the next generation write the history of this one. We should be doing something to make that history mean something.
Fiddling while Rome burns is not my idea of the way to go.
You may well be right about 2012.
In case free elections are suspended, you should look to struggles suggestions above about preparations.
