Even Joe the Plumber is writing McCain off. Say it ain't so, Joe.
Joe the Plumber conceded Monday night that Republican John McCain has a slim chance of defeating Democrat Barack Obama in the race for the White House.
Joe Wurzelbacher, the unemployed Ohio plumber who was thrust into the national spotlight in late September after quizzing Mr. Obama about his tax policy, made his prediction on the upcoming presidential election while be interviewed on Inside the Beltway Radio.

How quickly you forget what the polls said 4 years ago at this exact same time. But Bush won, didn’t he.
In fact they called it for kerry they were so cock sure of themselves.
You too?
I just posted an article that I wanted to see peoples comments on it.
Go look at othere threads. everyones whining McCain is going to lose. In my first post I predicted McCain would win. Please help out here. You are like the third person to slap me down for no reason.
Which isn't exactly true now is it.
That sounds like "planting seeds of discontent" to me.
I’d cut Joe some slack, he’s been villainized, investigated and had the wacko at kgo wish death upon him. It would be upsetting for many.
If your motives were pure than I apologize for the slam.
Justice
don’t need to. Joe never “wrote McCain off”, all he said was it was going to be tight, but McCain was going to pull it off.
Our poster wrote that in, which is something we don’t do here. You don’t change headlines, and you don’t edit the article.
This from the Washington Times?
“But still, thanks for hearty welcome here!”
Send me an address and I’ll mail ya a harmonica, for goodness sakes.
Let us just say that the threads you posted are rather interesting, if not telling. Are we’re supposed to do back flips because you posted your token “McCain would WIN” comments?
I’m skeptical. If you are a true conservative, you’ll gut this election cycle out and visit with the rest of us who’ve done the same. If not, your feelings will be hurt, you’ll feel rejected, and move on.
If I’m wrong, I apologize. Time reveals truth.
My uncle is a title reader - he doesn’t read anything, but gets his news by scanning the bold print. He’s as liberal as can be, and full of MSM talking points.
BTW, why do these morons even get paid to write? It’s evident that they’re not counting on anyone reading the actual quote. Pull some kid off the street and pay him minimum wage to write titles.
Today, I walked into a conversation between the liberals in the workplace (women) about Sarah Palin’s $150,000 wardrobe. They despise her with a passion.
They asked me what I thought about it, and with a straight face, I said that I couldn’t believe how sexist the media was, because you well know those fancy men’s suits the candidates are wearing cost a fortune.
You could hear a pin drop. I walked away with a sly grin - I love it when libs are forced to think.
My husband’s Mom was from Columbus area... they were Dem, blue collar people, but I doubt they would ever vote for a ‘wealth spreader’.
But...
It might work out.
Great! I love it when you can leave them speechless.
Perhaps I’m wrong but I thought Bush was closer in the polls the day before the election 4 years ago.
It's way past time.
Back in my modding days (elsewhere), I would have been zotting them left and right by now.
Say what?
Oh come on now...don’t put so much pressure on God like that. It is Messiah versus Messiah already dontcha know? :)
About what?
Jeeeez! What IS this poll crap anyway!! I thought you realized that the polls DO NOT matter! Rush, Hannity, Glenn Beck ALL say “DO NOT LISTEN TO THE POLLS”! “Tighten”,”Loosen”,”Up,”Down” who cares?! The pollsters have not, and admit, they don’t get it.
“Im skeptical. If you are a true conservative, youll gut this election cycle out and visit with the rest of us whove done the same.”
He did not say he was writing him off, only that he thought the chances are slim. With the MSM’s love affair with O-scum-a and America’s love affair with getting something free from the government for nothing, what do you expect? Deep in my heart, I want McCain and Sarah to win badly. More than any election in my over 30 years of voting, I want them to prevail, but I don’t feel good about the election. People here toss out all these numbers, percentages, if this breaks this way, and breaks that way, if Hillary voters go so much for McCain, if the sun comes up in the east tomorrow, just so many IF’S for McCain too have to pull in. I believe he loses badly in the popular vote. Just way too much cheating and way too many want theirs free out there for the scum.
