Mike Carey, president of the Ohio Coal Association (OCA), today issued the following statement in response to just-released remarks from Senator Barack Obama about the nation's coal industry. "Regardless of the timing or method of the release of these remarks, the message from the Democratic candidate for President could not be clearer: the Obama-Biden ticket spells disaster for America's coal industry and the tens of thousands of Americans who work in it.

Where was the Ohio Coal Association, and other energy PACs, when Biden was caught on tape telling some libchick that they wouldn't allow even clean coal?

I spent a week in Northeastern Ohio right after that and a week in mid-October, and heard nor saw a word about it.

3. Employee of a coal mining company (started 3 weeks ago).

it is one thing to make us pro environment but totally another to bankrupt all of these states and put so many of us in the dark with no nuclear plants or anything to pick up the speed. oh, guess thats what those national civilian forces or rather umm, reeducation camps that Obama wants are for.
