Pennsylvania is shaping up to be what Florida was in 2000 and Ohio was in 2008. On the morning drive in, I was tuned into our nationally sydicated talk show which broadcasts from Pittsburgh, PA.
He was reading from GOP internal polls. McCain has actually moved into the lead in Pennsylvania (but still within the margin of error) and was only 1% behind in Michigan. Keep working and don't give up!

The first “dude” needs to go to PA and talk about Obama shutting down the coal mines. Then on to Mich to talk about Obama’s feeling about “dirty” industry.

No. Nobody called in. Quinn just read them out saying they were GOP internal polls. He didn’t offer up where they came from, but obviously there from Carl from Ohio.

"...and if they lose PA early, that could easily be the first real sign of a McCain-Palin landslide..."
PA won't be called early. They have to wait to see how many votes they need to manufacture in Philly to combat the rest of the state. The only exception would be if there are enough Obama votes in the Philly suburbs, with an average turnout in the city, there is no way that a Republican can win the state if everybody else votes Republican. Then, they would call PA early for the Democrat as they've done lots of times previously.

The numbers from MI and esp. NJ seem just a little too good to be true. Kerry got 53% in NJ in 2004. Lots of pro Clinton, anti Obama Democrats in NJ this time around.
Wouldn't take much.

I think these polls could be misinformation - Axelrod wants Mccain to divert money away from Pennsylvania into Michigan. That won't happen. The ad buys have already been purchased, final visits are almost certainly scheduled and confirmed, and 527s are active in MI - a state that McCain does not need to win the Presidency.

First of all, I donated to the Freepathon. Second, we all know what Axelrod wants. He wants communism in America.

I've seen no evidence that Axelrod is able to out maneuver Team McCain, let alone dupe them into the move you described.

I take comfort from the fact that pollaganda has been rampant and the polls in most races in prior cycles have been biased towards the Democrats.

if that is true about MI where nothing has really been worked for that state then WOW
the real poll comes out tomorrow, my concern is that the media will try and call this early for obama like they did for gore in 2000.
No way can the media allowed to call VA,PA,NH,FL,MO,NC, early for obama
I hope the GOP are ready for the media’s dirty tricks
