Someone please explain the “working” class to me.
Are they trying to tell us that the upper, middle, and lower classes don’t work?

I agree. Those four categories need to be defined in objective terms.

I’m still trying to figure out what “middle class” is.
According to conservatives, I’m middle class. According to liberals, I’m filthy rich and need to be taxed out of existence as punishment for making wise choices with my life.

I think they are trying to say blue collar versus white collar but still the Middle Class, the largest class, has always been mostly blue collar I thought? Perhaps the breakdown is between uneducated workers and educated workers?

WHOA!
McPain might just pull it off.
Hopefully he WILL and then we have the task of making McCain into a conservative ... one step at a time ... .

Perhaps the breakdown is between uneducated workers and educated workers? Perhaps. I'd like to see them define what "educated" vs "uneducated" means while they're at it.
They just throw these terms around without ever defining what they're talking about it, and most of the country just accepts it.
Well, no more! I'm crabby and tired today, so I want definitions. Am I upper class or middle class? Educated or uneducated? Blue collar or white collar (or green?)
Who am I? WHAT am I?

My wild guess, based on completely anecdotal methods (i.e., just talking to folks that I meet), is that Senator "Coke-head" Obama's support among fast food and other retail workers is much weaker than even these polls are showing.

Frustrated, IMO.
