Barack Obama wants to institute a Civilian National Security Force, a vast militia not unlike Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, a personal army. He knows he would need such a force to protect him and to enforce his will on Americans.

Americans will have not seen such arbitrary power used against them since the days of the Civil War when Lincoln put the Constitution in the bottom drawer of his desk and set about arresting anyone who opposed his policies to enforce the Union on southern States seeking secession. The moral issue was slavery. The Constitutional issue was states rights.

If you want to see another civil war, just wait for this new security force to come into being. Obama would need it because the concept of posse comitatus forbids the use of the U.S. military to enforce laws within the nation. An army of domestic followers of “the One” would fill that need, assuming that all other law enforcement agencies failed to resist such a horrendous plan.

This is key. The military was disbanded in Haiti by the simple act of turning off the money spigot. That will not be as simple with the Pentagon. They have enough money in their coffers to continue a standing army for a year or more.
The military will be our only hope. A junta imprisoning the entire left wing of the Democrat party and the president and his cabinet will be a simple achievement. The appointment of strict Constitutionalists to the SC by a military dictator acting as president will allow the judicial system to reestablish constitutional law.We will be dependent upon the patriotiswm of the military to guarantee democracy under constitutional law. I have begun to see articles questioning the mental health of O. His schizophrenic musings in his biography are troubling. There is little doubt but that this unknown man of no achievement who hides his personal history, will need to be removed from office if he wins election.

As I've said on another thread, does the term "crystal nacht" mean anything to anybody out there? Strictly speaking, he doesn't have to create it. It'll form all by itself. And the vast majority of its members will be your White neighbors. Fearless prediction: acting in the guise of unruly mobs, their first move will be to attack and destroy gun shops, sporting goods stores, small arms manufactures, ammunition production facilities, and the homes of anyone holding an FFL or CWP. Shoot back? You won't have enough ammo to do the job. That's defensive strategy anyway, and as we all should know, nobody's won anything through defensive strategy. Sooner or later someone in the mob will flip a Molotov into your position, and "poof!" You're toast. If he's to get anywhere with his agenda, disarming the peasants must come first. It will be swift, violent, and shocking. That what his national civilian security corps will be for. He knows the police, national guard, and our nation's military would not enforce his orders trampling the constitution. His brown shirt legions, however, would.

The correct term in German is "Kristallnacht" and here's a brief description for those unfamiliar with history:

On the nights of November 9 and 10, 1938 rampaging mobs throughout Germany and the newly acquired territories of Austria and Sudetenland freely attacked Jews in the street, in their homes and at their places of work and worship. At least 96 Jews were killed and hundreds more injured, more than 1,000 synagogues were burned (and possibly as many as 2,000), almost 7,500 Jewish businesses were destroyed, cemeteries and schools were vandalized, and 30,000 Jews were arrested and sent to concentration camps.

The official German position on these events, which were clearly orchestrated by Goebbels, was that they were spontaneous outbursts. The Fuehrer, Goebbels reported to Party officials in Munich, "has decided that such demonstrations are not to be prepared or organized by the party, but so far as they originate spontaneously, they are not to be discouraged either."

Since when do average Americans (my white neighbors) form into mobs and attack businesses. Probably the closest thing we have done resembling that was lock up Japanese Americans in camps, and even that was pretty tame compared to what you are predicting. In any case, if that did happen it would not be a Federal issue and the National Guard would be called out by the State’s governer has has been done very time there is a riot such as the one you describe. The Fed has no jurisdiction in states unless it is to enforce the constitution, which was the case when Eisenhower sent the 101st Airborne to Little Rock, Ark. Even that was quite controversial.

As to Crystal Nacht. That was against Jews and meant to give Hitler an excuse to ramp up his progroms against them. We have no similar divisions in this country at the moment. There is no racial or ethnic group we are blaming for our problems.

Obama has only about 30% of our military supporting him. If he ever were to scam his way into becoming president, that support would likely drop even more.

Does Obama anticipate having to battle his own military—could that be part of his reason for this civilian security force?

I think we’re forgetting that Zero’s “brown shirts” would be mostly Blacks with no education or ambition beyond selling/using drugs and stealing from people who work.I doubt they could muster the discipline to be an effective force.If they come to my house,I will give them my guns-one bullet at a time.Thugs are generally cowards when someone shoots back.

I was in Paris many years ago, walking through the old Jewish Quarter when I came upon a bronze plaque posted on a rather nondescript wall. The purpose of the sign was to memorialize the night that the Germans came to arrest and deport Jewish citizens of France, aided and abetted by French citizens recruited for that purpose.

I read and mentally translated the words into English, absorbing their import. I decided to take a picture of the sign to bring home with me. At that moment, an old bearded man saw me and came toward me from across the street, yelling and cursing in both French and Yiddish.

I was taken aback and momentarily stunned. I started to protest in English, but realizing that my words were not understandable to him, I said first in French and then in Yiddish: "I am a Jew!!!" (Je suis un Juif!! Ich bin a Yid!"). He stopped and nodded that he understood, going on in a mixture of languages that he wanted me to know that on the night referred to on the plaque, the Germans came and took him, his wife and his daughter. He showed me the ancient number tattooed in faded green upon his arm. He survived. They did not.

With tears in my eyes (as there are now, so many years later), I explained that I wanted to show Americans what happens when people give up their freedom without a fight. I've never forgotten that event, nor will I, ever.

I wondered where were the race riots. The Rats knew that the media will go after Bush to stop the violence and answer the "will of the people." Gore would have been the President but he stopped the destruction and killings before they started.

Didn’t you all see the recent story about how regular troops have been set up here as part of something called “northcom”? Part of its mission is to deal with “civil unrest” in the case of an “emergency”. Bush has amassed great powers to the presidency that our spineless Congress has not challenged, and the Dems will be only too happy to use it when they are in charge. This is why government, Republican or Dem, must be kept on a short leash. If you don’t believe me, look it up.
