All right! I am about 10 feet from Sarah's podium in Raleigh! Can't take pictures from my Blackberry but the crowd is huge... Tens of thousands lined up outside. I managed to get VIP access at the last minute for the family and we're going to get a close-up view of our next Vice President! I'll try to post updates as the night goes on.
Any Freepers in the crowd, let me know!

The only Obama sign I’ve seen in my neighborhood was gone today. I don’t think anybody took it. I don’t know if they changed their minds or what. I hope so.

Palin makes one more stop in CO.
To the extent that rallies help energize the GOTV operation in the last days, the GOP has a double-barreled advantage because the Dems are hiding Biden.
Between now and Tuesday, Palin is in VA, OH, MO, IA, CO and NV. McCain is in PA, NH, FL, TN/SW VA, IN, NM and NV.
They're in sprint mode. I'm hoping for the best.

Ok... Back home. What an awesome time! I got to shake Todd’s hand, and Sarah signed my son’s hat, my wife’s shirt, and my stepdaughter’s hat too. A great moment when Sarah thanked the veterans in the crowd and had them raise their hands... She looked right at my wife and pointed at her (Mrs. Teesdale is an ex-Air Force captain).
What an amazing time. The Palins are exactly what this country and this world need: the rejuvenated proof of the American spirit in living action!
You are right about Palin drawing more than 3000. Security said there were 10,0000 in the building at 6:30. There were thousands outside in lines snaking all over the Fairgrounds. I have never been around this kind of energy.
