(CNN) Former Reagan chief of staff Ken Duberstein told CNN's Fareed Zakaria this week he intends to vote for Democrat Barack Obama on Tuesday.
Duberstein said he was influenced by another prominent Reagan official - Colin Powell - in his decision.

Who?
I also know my neighbor’s father in-law’s second cousin will vote for Obama too. Does that deserve an article.
>>>>Duberstein said he was influenced by another prominent Reagan official - Colin Powell - in his decision.<<<<
It’s worth noting that in his “endorsement” Powell said almost nothing about ZerO’s policies or ideology, and much about his style and presentation, which to paraphrase Powell are “presidential qualities”.
Just another Colon Powell.
Bathe regularly, you'll be okay.
Hiding behind the liberal Powell’s skirt...Some Reaganite
Duberstein is a political whore. Never been anything but. Think David Gergen without quite as much face time on TV.

Cheers!
Listening and watching Ken Duberstein over the years, serving a number of Republican Presidents, I always felt that his heart wasn’t really in to defending the GOP. This only serves to confirm my analysis. He was never a true friend of Conservatism...no, he was a product of the 1970’s and the Gerald Ford wing of the GOP.
Didn’t Duberstein assist Ford in giving us that ultra-leftist Associate Justice John Paul Stevens? “I have just begun to surrender” Stevens.
Another Communist ex-Republican exposed.

— You’re exactly right, Smorch. Lobbyists bend with the winds to make the big bucks
The whores of Washington D.C. strike again. The actual prostitutes have more honor than the D.C. politicos.
Did you know that Reagan kept a number of Democrat operatives on his staff? Ken Duberstein is looking for a job in the new Obama administration, should the leftists win this election. Ken never had loyalty to give up. I have never been impressed with Colin Powell; he has been too uncertain on too many issues. He does not come across like a retired General in the context of decisive action. I am not impressed with either of these leftists; IMO they are not Statesmen.
“the Gerald Ford wing of the GOP.”
Gerald Ford was never as liberal as NY’s Republican Senator Jacob Javits, which is where Duberstein started his career.
Anyone who can swing from supporting Jacob Javits to Ronald Reagan and back over to Barack Obama clearly cannot be accused of having a very firm political philosophy. Can one imagine a Ronald Reagan exhibiting the same degree of ideological “flexibility”?
Colin Powell is as liberal as they come. He rode Schwarzkopf’s coat tails through Gulf War One and people think he is conservative. They are wrong.
Lots of D-bags in Reagan’s admin huh?
Colin Powell, as you say, is not a conservative. Actually he has done nothing noteworthy or unique his entire life. He was the mediocre beneficary of affirmative action every step of the way. Now he backstabs those who helped and promoted him.
