Journalists from three major newspapers that endorsed John McCain have been booted from Barack Obama's campaign plane for the final leg of the presidential race.
The Washington Times reported Friday that it was notified of the Obama campaign's decision Thursday evening -- even though the paper has covered Obama from the start.
Executive Editor John Solomon told FOXNews.com that the Obama campaign said it didn't have enough seats on the plane, but "I don't think the explanation makes sense to us."
"We've been traveling since 2007 with him. ... We're a relevant newspaper -- every day we break news," Solomon said. "And to suddenly be kicked off the plane for people who haven't covered it as aggressively or thoroughly as we are ... it sort of feels unfair."

If Obama was really so sure they had this sown up, he could afford to be magnanimous.
This is the gesture of a desperate, petty and vindictive man.

It is surprising...there have been so many of this class of mistakes that could have buried Obama’s chances....there is NOTHING AMERICAN about this thug -— the race should have been a landslide had it been managed right.
One positive in this — tossing reporters off Obama’s plane — is that Obama wasn’t tossing dead weights.
She’s just an opinion writer, with a declared bias.
Obama’s kicked off supposedly “neutral” reporters from his plane because the editors at that paper endorsed McCain.
That’s a big difference. But, I’m still glad he got rid of a declared Democrat opinion writer.
I wouldn’t call the Dallas Morning News a “conservative” paper in any sense of the word.
How long before we hear about reporters getting tossed off the plane in mid flight?

Of course there is a difference. I just found it amusing she tried to worm her way onto his plane.

He can’t do that. McCain is only still around because he’s a media darling.
If this zero gets elected, God forbid, it’ll be fun to watch Chris Matthews get canned when he makes a mistake and disagrees with one little thing and. They are so stupid they don’t see it coming.

If all the reporters from Obama-endorsing newspapers were thrown off McCain’s plane how many would remain?
