(CBS) With less than one week until Election Day, Barack Obama maintains a clear lead over John McCain in the presidential race, a new CBS News/New York Times poll suggests. The Democratic nominee now leads his Republican rival by 11 percentage points, 52 percent to 41 percent, among likely voters nationwide.

Rush quoted a report that there had been over 700 polls since the campaign began, 250 of them in October. Four years ago, the entire campaign had 250 polls...
Yeah, sure Katie Couric. And Mason-Dixon, one of the most reliable state pollsters, has McCain only down by 4 points in PA. CBS-your national poll doesn’t add up.

Its the poll thats recited every hour on the hour on the radio in Dallas today. Its been excruciating to listen to today. And that voice......... Argh.
Just another garbage poll that significantly over samples democrats, with the goal of GOP voter suppression.
I don’t believe the people are going to fall for it. I believe most people these days are more informed and sophisticated to be duped by such things, and are wise to it now. Also, there are so many polls, most people likely don’t pay much attention to them anyway.

Nov. 4 will be so much fun. Why would CBS/NYT ruin the last drop of credibility with this silly poll? They’re done for good....

I can guarantee Obama will not win by 11. This poll is a fail and should be ignored.
McCain will win NV,FL,MO,NC OH,VA,PA and CO are tossups. I am fairly confident about OH
We should all hope that he can pull a win in VA
CBS is a wing of the Obama campaign and they are trying to dampen the spirits of McCain supporters. Not only must you vote, get your friends and everyone they know to vote (and tell them to do the same). McCain will win because the numbers and the “battleground states” are naturally Republican leaning as long as you get out the vote
Don’t worry about this poll it is phony. We just need to get out the vote.
This probably explains why the Obamacorns at Camp Obama are chattering and screeching like a bunch of cornered ‘RATS.
Since when is CBS right about anything? CBS, network of the stupid.
