reagan dems were blue collar concerned about their jobs. I think this is about people concerned about national security.

E or W Broward? If you are W Broward that is pretty good.

I saw McCain sign people tonight in NE Broward tonight. I will be there Sat and Sun. Looks like GOTV is kicking in.

In FL we got rid of the chads in the counties that used them, even though in all but one the voters were smart enough to use the punch cards properly. But there was alot of fraud potential there so I’m glad they got rid of them.

Alot of counties that switched went to electronic voting, but after Ohio, the libs screamed about Diebold so they outlawed electronic voting in FL. So all the counties that paid millions of dollars to change had to fork out more millions to go to optical scan.

A complete waste of cash. But optical scan is the best and probably the most fraud resistant way to vote. Even the vote manufacturers will have a hard time adding extra ballots because it takes a long time to fill in those little circles.

I went to check on the status of my husband’s absentee vote from Iraq and decided to vote while I was there. I got the vibe that it was definitely a McCain crowd. The line was LONG!

Have you considered reporting this? Or is this your invitation for someone else to do so? Because I am sure plenty of FReepers would be more than happy to do it...

If they've voted early back here in Houston, their Houston votes are already in the machine. Still, if they're in Harris County, someone should report this to the County Clerk, Beverly Kaufman. She runs the election here and she's a Republican.

Parents voted in Boca, and said that it was a very pro-Obama crowd. I seriously doubt that is the case in Central Florida, North Florida, and the west coast, outside of the “obvious” precincts.

"These are exit polls, not counting the actual votes."

I've never been exit polled in my life . . . although it sounds like fun!

I thought that there was some kind of rule about not releasing exit polls prior to the final closing of the polls? Or is there some kind of exception to the rule, there always seems to be. LOL

I agree that all this early voting and exit polls and other stuff is stupid. My guess is if this is based on asking early voters leaving polling places then McCain is doing better. I would not repsond to any questions going in or out.

FL should be safe. Obama will have dumped at least $20 million in the state.

I only wish the illegal offshore credit card donors ask for chargebacks on Nov 5th when he loses and Obama is stuck with a $150 million tab.

Like the Mastercard commercial - priceless.

Good news. Better to not celebrate chickens when there are more chickens to hatch. Let Obama continue to believe he is going to win in a walk and he can take that walk back to Illinois.

In my opinion, this bodes very well for John McCain in Florida.

This is great news.   Early voting was Obama's ground game and he's been out gamed!

Go Mac! Bring it home Patriot!

These are not exit polls. These are actually tallies of actual votes.
Early voting is stupid,,, but it is what it is.
McCain is leading. I also heard in other early voting states it is tied.

Well, here in Indiana the early votes are not counted until election day. If someone is counting early votes then that person should be in jail.

It’s a simple matter to report them. That is a crime and furthermore it a crime against you, the same as stealing your vote and mine. Why would they even tell you this? It’s a crime in both states as well as a federal crime.

I thought that there was some kind of rule about not releasing exit polls prior to the final closing of the polls?

The only "rule" is an "agreement" amongst the media to do so. They are free to violate it, without any consequences other than disapproval from various parties. The 1st Amendment protects them, as it should.

But, I believe the "rule" is only that they will not "project the winner" of a state until all the polls have closed in that state.

King Solomon would have the appropriate punishment for voting in two states.
