There has been much discussion throughout the Net about a secreted video showing Barack Obama at a dinner with terrorists Bill Ayres and wife Bernadine Dohrn, and the anti-Semitic Arafat advisor, Rashid Khalidi.

The Los Angeles Times has a copy of the tape, but won't release it because they said the source--whom I believe is Arab American Action Network (AAAN) founder and anti-Israel Palestinian activist Ali Abunimah of Electronic Intifada--required it not be released as a condition of sharing it. That's because it likely shows Obama applauding an anti-Semitic, anti-Israel poem that was read at the dinner.

I just hope this isn’t being overplayed. There IS the remote possibility that the tape won’t show anything damaging to Obama. However, it’s ANOTHER example of stonewalling, like with the birth certificate, and the willingness of the MSM to play along with the Obama campaign.

I don't think it is. As you say, there is probably not a lot there. However, there probably are some anti-Israeli remarks made and most likely Obama sat through them with an approving expression on his face. Also, toasting a person with a link to the PLO would not be good for his "Ayers is just a guy in the neighborhood" theme.

Who knows? It may exist, but there’s no reason to believe this lady’s guess who supplied the tape.

Any way, I got a theory about why McCain didn’t run directly on Obama and Chicago sleaze — it was a compromise so Obama wouldn’t run on Keating Five and other sleaze.

After he beat HIllary Obama openly said Keating 5 was fair game.

I worry about this for two reasons. The first is that when McCain was the chairman of the International Republican Institute several grants (over half a million dollars) were given out to a group co founded by Khalidi. McCains hands are not clean when it comes to this man. The second is that the electorate really just doesn't care about this. The base does, but the spongy middle doesn't. So if it turns out there isn't any “there” there on the tape, the MSM just spins against McCain. I think this isn't something to pin our hopes on.

Birth certificate (or lack thereof)
Medical records (not that I care that much -- but c'mon, every Presidential candidate releases more data than this guy)
20 year history at Wright's Place (sure - we know he went there ... but that subject was dropped as quickly as the MSM could ignore it)
This latest film
The NPR audio recording that surfaced last week, which Mr. Obama expressed his kinship with Karl Marx, Lenin, etc...

Our media watchdogs were certainly quick to marshal resources and to jump all over 'Joe the Plumber', but when it comes to checking on the anointed one they are out to lunch. Just upholding their position as the DNC Ministry of Propaganda, I suppose. I guess I'll have to start referring to them as DuMP from now on...
