Fox had an interesting story on this morning. Obama's campaign does not have AVS turned on for it's credit card processing on donations (AVS = Address Verification Service). So, in reality, there is no name validation or address verification tied to his donations, and a ton of money is pouring in from Europe and elsewhere. They can just type in anyname they want to, Fox listed some of the names, Adolf Hilter, William Ayers, Yogi Bear, and so on. Basically, the Obama campaign has put the US Presidency on his own EBay and Europe and others are saying "Okay, we would like you to win, here's some money". A large percentage of his money is coming from outside of the US and he knows it. I run a business that does online sales, trust me, nobody runs with AVS turned off, you would end up with 95% fraud if you did.

Simple, it was posted above:
1) call your credit card company and tell them you believe there have been fraudulent transactions and ask for a) explanation with the name of the company who processed the transaction, and who the payment processor was and b) a refund of the fraudulent transactions.
2) Call your police, it’s very simple to file a “stolen identity” report. Get it documented, and get the case number.
Federal campaign finance law imposes individual contribution limits, bans corporate contributions, and has reporting requirements by individual for each election.
These rules depend on collection of the identity of the donor, and then reporting each contribution and the total contributions from each individual donor.
Obama is obviously flagrantly violating those laws.
I emailed Drudge and the McCain campaign and gave them both a link to this story. I’ve have a mind to call our company laywer and file a lawsuit or press charges as an American against his campaign for treason.

Clinton and Gore got away with breaking the law in 1996...Janet Reno didn’t do anything. Obama can count on a compliant Dept. of Justice that won’t find anything amiss...they’ll be too busy trying to find violations by Republicans.
He’s selling an album of songs, all of the money up through the election goes to his campaign, after the election, the label will start to get money.
At least one of the artists who contributed work to the album is not an American (the guy from the Eurythmics). That should be a contribution “of value”.
They will not mail the CD to a foreign address but they do offer digital downloads regardless of where you live.
The Obama campaign’s monthly donation figures should be reported in Euros rather than Dollars.
Dream on. The House will be in Democrat hands. No chance of anything happening there.
November 5 to January 20 will be a non-stop celebration by the media of Obama's victory...nobody who wants to bring up the illegalities will get a word in edgewise.
As I said on another thread. I work for an online retailer. Part of my job is investigating AVS failures. Sometimes they’re innocent typos, or the AVS system doesn’t recognize the address the way it’s typed, but other times it’s fraud.
Without AVS turned on, any stolen cc could be used. Our AVS tells us when the issuing bank is a non US entity, but turn AVS off and you wouldn’t know where the funds were coming from.
No AVS on Obama’s donation page has been a known issue for weeks now.
Also remember with AVS turned off it means someone could randomly put in credit card formatted numbers and eventually get hits.
So NOBODY’s credit card number is safe even if you have never been anywhere near Obama’s web page.
Or in Mexican pesos, as is done when Obama says taxes will be raised only on those making over $250,000. People don't realize the figure is in pesos.
Exactly. They can’t claim this is an innocent mistake; this was brought to their attention LAST WEEK, if not earlier, and they have not turned AVS back on on their website as of this week. They say they’re relying on “back-end checking”...why do that when you’ve got a reliable, simple, automatic system, used by millions of other online merchants, THAT SAVES YOU MONEY IN THE PROCESS?
Like Scythian said, there’s no legitimate reason for an online merchant to go with AVS turned off. I can’t think of one. It lowers the chances of fraud, it saves money in transaction fees, it has an extremely low rate of errors. So why not use it? None of the answers to that question are very good.
The WaPo has run two fairly weak articles on this. That’s it. NOBODY in the DBM is hitting The One on this. The only people who are keeping it front and center are the conservative alternative media, mainly blogs.

My take: Soros, Peter Lewis (Progressive Insurance), Hollyweirdos, and all the very wealthy freaking anti-American misanthropes who donate to the lib pacs and think tanks provide the voluminous funds for millions of small Visa/MC cash cards for these ‘individual donations.’
With the verification defaults removed, it’s impossible to trace them .... totally unethical and blatant campaign finance FRAUD.
Throw in similar antics from supportive foreign sources, and you have a money machine designed and set to take this country down.
