We should take that state. If Indiana falls then we are in big trouble. The fact that it could be close isn’t a great sign. Bush won Indiana by 21% in 2004.

McCain wins Indiana by 18-20. What’s the point of this thread?

This is good news, but in many states the interim (or early polling) results are not reported. They simply state no. of dems and no. of Republicans that have voted.

Some overstuffed twerp was in front of me with an Obama sticker on his tiny little white sports car.
I pulled along side and gave him the evil eye. They don't call me Battle Axe for nothing.

Do they actually tabulate early votes at this time? I thought they waited until election day to do all the counting.

Zero has been spending a TON of $$$ on audio/video ads. They are running nonstop here in fair Indiana. I think McCain is going to go allout this final weekend, where he has said the last 72 hours are where you win an election.

In response, ACORN said, "We believe the law requires us to turn in every card."
The group, which is the target of intense GOP attacks, says it flagged questionable registration forms collected by its canvassers. The group has been criticized for submitting phony forms in several states many of which are considered battlegrounds in next week's presidential election.
But Rokita said ACORN should have turned the documents over to law enforcement, not registrars.
"Complying with the law to submit legitimate applications does not allow ACORN officials to evade the law against knowingly submitting fraudulent applications," Rokita wrote.

Indiana voted for Lyndon Johnson.
They voted for some Democrat pukes two years ago, and in some places they always vote Democrat (Gary-Hammond-East Chicago-Dyer).
The Dems got fired up since they had a big turnout in the primaries. Alas, those were Republicans going in to vote against the Evil Hildabeast. I doubt they have converted to Obama.
