Needless to say we will stick to the paper forms.

No E-4473 in my shop then... Silly prole...you think this will be 'voluntary'. How quaint.

A database of 4473...gun registration made simple. A gun grabber's wet dream. Just say NO.

a new record-keeping initiative that will "simplify" the hassles of off-site digital record storage by allowing FFLs to, say, store the information on secure governmental servers. Agreed. This will be done in the name of cost savings and convenience to everyone involved - and half of our people will be convinced that its no big deal. Watch.

Wasn't there legislation passed to explicitly prevent the 4473's from being used as a "gun owner database"?
Of course, if the Constitution won't slow these idiots down, a little thing like a mere Law won't even be noticed...

and half of our people will be convinced that its no big deal. "What? They'll never want to take my O/U or my deer rifle."

We manufacturers have some leverage. Never think that .Gov is all powerful. They gotta get their toys from somewhere...

Anyone remember Red Dawn?
Colonel Bella sends a Soviet soldier to ‘obtain files number 4473... a list of private gun ownership.”
Would love to hear John Milius’ take on Obama.

I have a copy of Red Dawn. Assuming the gun owners in the U.S. have any kind of spine, they could mobilize far faster than we could be invaded by people using form 4473 information to ferret out the private gun owners.

What I’m worried about is being made an instant criminal after some new ‘anti assault weapon’ ban is passed. Someone said once an ‘assault weapon’ is anything that looks scary to a Democrat.
I think my pistol-grip riot shotgun definitely fits that bill.

They gotta get their toys from somewhere... You think that's a problem? How compliant will your employees be after they see you dragged off in handcuffs and charged with multiple felonies?
Then they'll ask politely "Does anyone else object or would you all like to get back to work NOW?"

They gotta get their toys from somewhere...They get an awful lot of them from "gun friendly" Europe. FN's plant in NC is just a nicety...they'll be allowed to export for governmental contracts. They hold Winchester and USRA. Cerberus controls more US firearm interests than you can shake a stick at...that may be your only option...Remington, DPMS, Bushmaster. Have you noticed all of the buy-outs lately? CZ-USA bought Dan Wesson...it goes on.

And as an aside, firearms manufacturers must be licensed. Licensed by whom? You got it.

Question: My cousin waited too long to get his permit. Now there is no time before the election for him to do NRA training and get a permit using that. Is it legal for him to buy a pistol from a gun show without a permit?
