Cooper Arms owner Dan Cooper backs Obama. Can't post the article due to copy write infringement, But I thought you might want to know that a gun manufacturer is supporting a gun grabber. He said he was he was dazzled by Obama's speech at that year's Democratic National Convention.

Thanks Dan! It was real nice of you to come forward and identify yourself. You have the right to vote for the candidate of your choice. However, I have the right to not buy any of your products as a result of your endorsement. I will not buy any product sold by your company, or any company you are affiliated with, for the rest of my life. I will also do all I can do to get the word out about your endorsement so that others who care about the 2nd Amendment can act accordingly.
Has anyone ever compiled a list of executives or companies who have made similar such decisions? I want to make sure I spend my money right.

Hammel said, "I would rather pay a little higher tax on a higher profit than a lower tax rate on lower profits." This last line has me shaking my head as a small business owner. Obviously the business owners in the article never considered that they will be paying higher taxes on lower profits if BO is elected.

Thanks for the confirmation. Every nation has it's quislings. For a gun maker to go against our constitutional liberties and support a socialist gun grabber is beyond my capacity to forgive.
A national boycott of this Cooper Arms would be in order.

I tried to contact Cooper Arms but it looks like their server is fried. The “contact” link just sets there stalled.
Someone should send the article to GOA and the NRA. I will be putting up copies at my gun club.

I just wrote them an e-mail...
Hi, I just read where Cooper Firearms is supporting Barak Obama for President?
Good luck with that.....
As a gun builder....I'm having real difficulty in understanding how you can be so uninformed....about Obama's record on guns, and ammo.
Do you realize what Obama thinks of the Constitution of the U.S.A?
Do you know...that Obama has actually stated...that he didn't think anyone should own guns?
I will suggest that you have no idea what you have actually done here...............

It must be nice being in a business where he has excess profits - ie, so much profit that he can give some away and still be competitive. I thought most businesses had competitors who would undersell you if you were making a ton...

What do you make?
Also, I can't imagine dealing with the BATFE under BO. They were bad enough under Clinton.

I don't own any Cooper firearms. This news means I won't be patronizing his products. Perhaps the fool thinks his support will appease the anti-gun socialists. His admission of being "dazzled" is an admission of ignorance.

From what I saw of his site, he's making rifles for the bunch that believe in the Second Amendment up to the point where some yahoo can get his hands on an "assault rifle." These people don't believe that Obama will take their guns...$30,000 O/U's, lovely, engraved deer rifles....
