Newt was just on the Hannity show and he still thinks McCain is very much alive in this election. The release of the 2001 "redistribution of weath" tape has the opportunity to change the race during the last week...

I don’t if anybody is up for it but this would be a good time for a last minute donation to the cause. At the minimum give it your best prayer, as usual!

Yes - I heard that Drudge was getting huge hits on his website for those interested in catching the article on Obama’s 2001 interview...

Totally possible. Time to pray. Check the Daily Readings threads for all the prayer threads.

I still can't get over how Newt turned Pu$$y and lost his nerve in the 1995 Budget battles. The GOP in Washington hasn't been the same since. Before that, we actually had guys up there who cared about our country and wanted to do well. After that, it seemed like the most powerful ones were out for themselves.
Then again, the mid to late-1990's was the "Gelded Age", where pu$$ydom seemed more important than standing for anything. Between Bill Clinton, NEwt, Algore, and Trent Lott, you had a lot of weak, soft people with hearts of stone running things.

Newt is FOS. Mac has had it in the bag since Palin. All supposed swings since are just Pollsterbation. I doubt if there will be any current bambi supporter that will be swayed by the redistribute tape. Anyone who supports bambi at this point is simply ok with communism.

I wish that Shawn would have put 2 & 2 together and realize that Ismail Khalidi was possibly the speaker at the dinner for his father. He is very out spoken and you can bet in the tank for Obama's election.
Read about Ayer's son and his friend Ismail Khalidi who is of course the son of Rashid Kahalidi. Go to the links of Chesa Boudin and Socialism. Barack Hussein Obama is the CANCER that the American people have to fight. http://www.lettersfromyoungactivists.org/
This is why we need to be concerned about Bill Ayers and his connection to Barack Hussein Obama. He and his Wife Bernardine Dorhn raised this step Son Chesa who is a Communist ACTIVIST!. Funny how you can go from community activist to being a full fledged Communist. But Americans better wake up before we elect the real Manchurian Candidate. Obamas link to Ayers and Dohrn are important to us as we will end up like Cuba or Venezuela a country that both Ayers and Chesa are really tied too. Do a Google search for this connection.
There is a chapter in the book by the son of Rashid Khalidi that again shows Why the Jewish voter should be alarmed with voting for Obama. Rashids son is Ismail Khalidi as radical as you can get. Read at Google Books his letter to his parents! This is very troubling if youre an Israel supporter.
Recent Macalester College graduate Ismail Khalidi, 22, was born to Palestinian parents in Lebanon and grew up in Chicago. His letter is to his parents and he wrote it right after the seige and bombardment of Fallujah in November 2004. "It was written in a desolate time of year--winter--miming the desolate time in our country and other countries," says Khalidi. "It's really kind of a 'sad poem,' but also a way for me to take stock of what I believe in." And what he believes in is the struggle for justice.
, Khalid writes, "I know I am never doing enough and that I have much to learn, but I know that I am still learning, and that I will find my own way to fight. I know you understand that, and that is what pushes me onward when the wind chill plummets and when lies pass for truth."
You can only assume Ismail was another classmate of Chesa and taught by Ayers,Dorhn and Obama.
Obamas Ties to anti-American friends is troubling and we need to stop his election by educating the American public.
Here is the link to a book published by Chesa and others. I can bet you that most of these activists are working for Obama or ACORN during this campaign in some stealth manner.

Boy, I hope Newt is correct. I’m going to be here election night, and NOT watching the TV. If we lose, I’m going to avoid all TV, and internet news until March 2009.
I will come here to see what’s going on, and listen to Rush and Mark, but I will not be able to take the arrogance and celebration in the media if Obama wins.

Print signs like “Obama = Socialism” and post them on lampposts at busy intersections
Thousands will see them.

I too was disappointed in Newt for the same.
Oh the potential he had!
The way that they demonized him was proof positive of how right he was. He sacred them sh!tle$$.
It will take tremendous foundational work to build the chance for another opportunity like that one.

...funny! My exact same game plan! During the Clinton years my family was instructed to turn the channel the moment Bill or Hill came on. Same with BO. If an ad comes on or news clip etc...”put it on ‘Food Network’ or Cartoons.

Newt like Clinton suffer from a lack of discipline in their personal lives. Like Clinton he couldn’t keep his pants zipped, he couldn’t put getting his personal”jollies” over his responsibilities to his constituents. If he had kept his focus on his job, he might still be speaker, senator, or what not, instead of a “talking head” shouting “look at me! ... look at me!”

Yes he does because polls are biased. The only question is will people take the time to get out and vote? I trust they will.

HOw are you going to listen to Rush? He’ll be gone way before than. Maybe November 6 since there will be a HUGE push to get Bush and Cheney to resign RIGHT AFTER the election. The new Congress’ first order of business will be to hush Rush, et. al.

I’m with you. If B0 wins the first thing I am going to do
is go to my flagpole and hang it upside down to alert the
countryside that our nation is endangered. Then I will, with you, get my news on Drudge and Free Republic which I mostly do anyhow.
