What will be your first bellweather sign as to which way the election will go?
Posted on 10/27/2008 2:02:11 PM PDT by Osama Obama
What will be your first tipoff as to the final outcome of the election? Will it be the weather forcast a few days before the election? Will it be the reports of where voter turnout is the heaviest? How about the speed with which some of the first states will be called? What's your tell?

My guess is Osama Hussein will lose because of the number of newbie trolls we’ve gotten here on FR

I’m thinking Florida and/or North Carolina.
In the latter, if Obama wins it and Libby Dole loses, I see a really bad night in the making.

Does the over 150,000 who turned out for the One in Denver and Fort Collins count as an omen?

Because of the time zones, I’ll be watching Virginia, N. Carolina, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

One thing for sure, many of us give lots to charity. If Obama wins, those days are over. He is going to raise our taxes to take care of people who refuse to get out and work hard? If he punishes work instead of rewarding it, who the heck is going to want to work for charity? Government will be doing that work!

It will be real obvious that McCain is done if FL goes dummie. However, I expect they won't be able to call that state very early. Thus, I am looking at VA and NH as probably the earliest indicators. NC may also figure in there, though I expect McCain will win there and I'll only be looking at whether Barry made it close or not.

When the smirks on the main stream media whores become frowns or downright horror-filled. They’ll start making excuses or will state that results aren’t “conclusive” and that further mail-in ballots have yet to be tallied, blah, blah, blah...Watch for the media’s response - you’ll know if McCain has won by their response....
To: Osama Obama
I’d have to say Pennsylvania and Virginia. I see these two states as being key. If we can hold on to Virginia and flip Pennsylvania then we win. If we lose VA and Zero holds PA, we lose.

Because they were so good at showing us how Kerry was the Big winner in 2004 and how Gore was winning Florida

Whether Susan Estrich is drunk on FNC or not.
She was tipsy when she thought that Kerry was winning, but then she crashed hard.
