*How can someone who is on record as saying that the Constitution is deeply flawed ... **

He said it is "fundamentally" flawed which is worse! Fundamentally flawed?? McCain if you don't shout this from the rooftops we are doomed. Sara get out there and keep repeating that! 8 days and counting keep pounding that simple point.

Sarah needs to get on Entertainment Tonight (ET) by talking about the rumors that Hollywood wants her as an actress, then talk about this radio interview. McCain needs to run a comparison ads wih Stalin/Lenon/Castro and Obama's view on taking income money.

Push that it isn't tax the rich. It is tax those of you who dream to become rich. The rich already have their money and are not paying income tax on it.

If only we had a nominee with enough ideological orientation to put all the pieces of Obama’s radicalism together into a coherent picture for the American public

We do, but she is in the VP slot. Hey John,

Take the governor off the Governor!!!

Yes, they care. I was extremely gratified to find my next-door neighbor is voting for McCain. He would have said so earlier, but he wasn’t sure where my loyalties lie.

People are not just rushing into casual conversation in this election, due to the potential threats. Damn sad, on one hand, a good and true silent majority on the other hand.

Keep up the kneemail.

Over the weekend I talked to two life long Public Employees. One, a Democrat county elected official. Neither of them is voting for Barack Obama, and these guys deliver votes.

It’s not the wealth he wants to redistribute, it the INCOME! The wealthy have their money salted away in a million tax shelters. It’s the INCOME Obama wants to take from the earners. Doesn’t he also want to treat the capital gains as ordinary income? He, whose wife spends more on a lobster/caviar snack than I spend on groceries in a month.

“It’s not the wealth he wants to redistribute, it the INCOME!”

Actually, it's both. He'll start with the income and get around to the wealth when he has some free time.

Now they have to tie it to Obama’s red star motif, which appears on just about everything in his campaign, including the stadium where the divine master gave his nomination acceptance speech. It was clearly meant as a message to those in the know; Obama hasn’t been particularly subtle about this. And to everybody else, it was just a star.

But having gone through the 60s and 70s, as soon as I saw it, I recognized it as the red star worn by the “student left” with whom I went to school lo those many years ago.

Liberal editors scrambling right now to figure out how to spin this to Obama’s advantage. Democrats e-mailing talking points.

when mccain wins - FR should have a special policy-making cabinet position.

This has been precisely the problem with Bush. Until pubbies start paying attention to the Constitution and principles of free enterprise it will not matter who is in office.
Given Mac the idiot’s approach to conservatism we would have a better shot at influencing legislation and appointments with the zero as potus.

I believe this fear has extended to the way polls are answered and may have something to do with the unusually high number of "undecideds".

Doug McIntyre on KABC LA radio is hammering this audio home this morning yet says it will bypass the MSM and its a little too late......... FYI, sat in a bar last night.... next to a Obama supporter, said Socialism is good as it provides things like police. This woman also said she use LA Weekly as her guide on the state propositions..... yikes!

This is important. I've seen the same thing. Not right across the board, mind you, but They're there, and in a significant way. A big population of dems is on auto-pilot. There's nothing anyone can do about them. They're pod people. Some, on the other hand still have the ability to reason. They read and write. They engage in the process and they don't like what they see. Keep up the noise and they might respond, and in a good way.

There's no more fundimental issue than the sanctity of the Constitution.

McCain has to explain what “redistribution” really means. I lived in Hyde Park years ago - and I know what the liberals in that community are talking about when they use the term. The rest of American needs to know too.
