"Politically Motivated" Mutilation - Real or Hoax?
Pittsburgh law enforcement sources tell TMZ they have serious questions about the authenticity of the alleged victim who says she had her face cut by a politically-motivated attacker.
We're told there are several things about the alleged attack that don't add up. A Pittsburgh PD official says they are conducting a "thorough investigation" and have not determined if the alleged attack is real or a hoax. But we're told there is definitely a level of skepticism.
As we reported, the alleged victim claims she went to an ATM and when she turned around, a large dark-skinned man took the money she withdrew. She says when he noticed she had a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on her car, he became enraged, knocked her down and cut a "B" in her face.
We're told the woman refused medical assistance at the scene and said she would go to the hospital the next day.
The investigation continues.
What if she is a DEM and lied to become a McCain volunteer? Then if she purposely had this done - it would look bad for McCain.
Just my two cents.

I know I am new here, but seriously why is everyone acting as judge and jury on this young woman? When a man is overpowering you and has a deadly weapon in his hand, do you really know and I mean REALLY KNOW what you would do?

The difference is, the media never rushes to question phony hate crimes against leftists and minorities. They never, ever raise the question unless and until the person admits the hoax.

YOu never know. A man entered my house, a scruffy weird guy, walked in the front door and headed to me. I always thought I was a fighter but my knees went weak and I sunk to the floor frozen like a piece of jelly. Thank God my huge standard poodle came bounding down lthe stairs, jumped over me and chased that sucker off the property.
I never knew I would freeze like that but I did and it was involuntary and reflexive.

Another factor: flip the photo and zoom it... you write a “B”; the increased skin tearing and darker abrasion indicates to me that it was not faked (had she done it, the more forceful tearing would be at the bottom)
Also, someone who thinks of something like this to drum up support would clearly put ALOT of thought into it; would they screw up the most important aspect?

Hello. I sincerely doubt that she was standing up when her attacker wrote on her face. Therefore, it would be most likely that the attacker would be kneeling at her head - in that case it is not backwards.
And another difference is that some of us (the stupid party), help the left attack our own.
Being skeptical is good. But as for the black eyes being makeup....where did the photo come from? Is it a mug shot, news photo? Don’t you think THEY would have noticed it was makeup? I’ve had black eyes that didn’t swell from being hit on the back of my head.
IF the police saw her I think they coukd wipe off makeup as opposed to a real bruise.
Also, if she’s so politically minded, wouldn’t she just use O. The O is much more convincing than a B and also easier to do if you were doing it to yourself.

I have to say I’m filled with doubts about it, but then I’m also wondering what could possess anyone to do a [hoax??] like this if it’s not legit.
The black eye doesn’t look like there’s any real swelling, not that I’ve seen any black eyes in my entire life, but when I’ve seen photos they’ve always had a lot more obvious swelling.
Hard to believe anyone could carve their own face, though..... as another poster commented, even in suicide women are (reported to be) very protective of their faces, not that I would know anything about that subject.....
This all seems so extremely bizarre either way, whether real or hoax, but I can’t say I find it too easy to believe this is real. Hope for the sake of the young woman it’s real b/c if it is a hoax it’s going to come out as the police will stay on it due to the amount of publicity it’s getting.
I have to believe every story that comes out or I'm "jumping" to conclusions? Come on now. It sounds and looks fishy to me. Nothing definitive.
