Vanity: Sarah Palin 2012
20 October 2008

Sarah Palin will be elected President in 2012, no matter what happens two weeks from now. She will, most likely, rise up when John McCain declines to run for re-election or, failing that, on her own as a direct candidate.
PALIN 2012, YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST .... As endorsed by the Dodger!

I thought you were done with me.
Your vanity post said nothing of “15 months ago.” If you said that then, more power to you. But you’ll forgive me for not being up to date on your personal history.
All that being said, it’s STILL counterproductive to be having this conversation 2 1/2 weeks before the election.

He has more knowledge and conservatism packed into his back pocket than the rest of the GOP combined, including Sarah.
I don't care if he has more conservatism in his pinkie than otherwise exists in the entire known universe. The number of people he excites can be numbered on a high school shop teacher's "bad" hand. He has NO CHANCE. Again, whatever "IT" is, Sarah has it, and Hunter doesn't. It's no slap at him, it's just fact. Palin is already light years ahead of him, should she decide to run in 2012. You may not think it's fair, and maybe it's not, but that's reality. I'm sure he'd make a great adviser.

In 2012 she will of had 1 and a 1/2 terms as Governor CORRECTION: In 2012 she will have had 1/2 term as Governor and 1 term as VP.

She can ask him why his moonbat followers are helping to elect Obama by throwing away their votes.
I notice that you live in California. You're vote isn't going to win John McCain one single solitary electoral vote. Does that mean you are "throwing away your vote" if you vote for him anyway?
There are two kinds of real throwaway votes: the vote not cast and the vote cast for someone you don't really want to see elected.

In any case, huh??? That was 'Dateline July 2007.
Golly, some eyes simply cannot see or read. Ah well. On a happier note, I share your enthusiasm such as with the domain names. Meanwhile, please peruse more carefully ...

Sorry, but you actually heard it here first ...
Just in Alaska visiting family well tied to the Republican Party ... the McCain team has spent the week visiting locals with an eye on Sarah Palin as a possible VP.
Whether all that happens this elective year or not, Sarah Palin will be President in 2012.
Hoo-haa!!

BTW, is 'counterproductive' a real word (as opposed to, say, 'unproductive')?

Sorry. Make that the number of people who have SEEN him to even consider being excited is neglibible.
You mix celebrity with substance and excitement. If Hunter had a speech in front of 30 million people like Palin did, folks would quickly recognize who the next Reagan is.
I don’t care one whit if it is fair or not. I just know what needs to be done to position Hunter for 2012. Believe me, after 4 years of Mccain (or Obama), following 8 years Bush, legit Reaganism will be craved and demanded, and there is only one man who can fill it that I know of, and it ain’t Palin.
So you work on that Palin thing, I’ll work on Hunter’s campaign and we’ll see what happens.

With all due respect, I don't doubt that you indeed may have said that on July 2007. But it's NOT in your initial post above. Heck, you might have been the person I first heard it from, but it was not on THIS vanity. And forgive me for not reading ALL of your posts here.
That said, yes "counterproductive" is a word, defined as thwarting the achievement of an intended goal; tending to defeat one's purpose. Dictionary.com.

What’s it going to be? Are you going to work for Hunter who you know won’t desert the GOP or are you going to work for the ahem....FALCON candidate?

I posted the Juneau reference in this thread about. Meanwhile, sorry, but 'counterproductive' is an oxymoronic neologism offered up only in the past two decades or so by the mindless commentariat of the socialist left.
It is not 'really' a word in any good sense although it is a 'buzzword'. And so to bed ....

Make that the number of people who have SEEN him to even consider being excited is neglibible.
And there's a reason for that...
You mix celebrity with substance and excitement.
No, I don't. In this day and age, you HAVE to have charisma or a very high "likeability" factor. I don't care if your "substance" is 100 PROOF ROT GUT CONSERVATISM, if you aren't able to "connect" to people, you will not get far. Hunter has got about as far as he's going to get on substance alone. Again, that's not a knock on him. He can't change who he is, and he shouldn't. It doesn't make him less of a conservative, person, or American, but if you think he's going to win simply because he's "got more conservatism than everybody else in the world put together!" you are terrible naive.
So you work on that Palin thing, Ill work on Hunters campaign and well see what happens.
LOL. You still don't get it. I don't have to work on anything. Palin is THE most popular GOP politician in America right now, bar none. It's not even close. If she becomes VP, that certainly won't change and she would hand Hunter his hat in a primary. He's going to beat a sitting VP that is wildly popular in a primary? The last cinnamon roll at Michael Moore's family reunion would have a better chance of survival. If she's not the VP and goes back to Alaska, she will only gain more experience and knowledge. Again, she got thrown into this thing without much warning and only did so because she was asked. She didn't seek it out. Hunter DID seek it out and didn't do squat. If Palin wants the nomination and has 4 years to get ready for it, she would cream any competitor and do it with a smile on her face the whole time. The day after the coming election, she IS the favorite for the GOP nomination, period. I bet if you asked 100 GOP voters on the day after the election, more than half would say PALIN for their 2012 pick. Hunter would do no better than he did during the primary, meaning he might get 1 vote, and there's no reason to believe that time would change that outcome. Palin and her support will only get stronger.

God forbid...If something happens to McCain while president...she may have to step into that office before 2012. She’s been told she is Modern-Day Esther. This country needs a deliverer.

Not to pick at nits, but it would have been helpful to have your Juneau reference in the body of the original thread. Had you done so I would have...
1) congratulated you on your foresight
2) still told you it was “counterproductive”

Sorry, she needs a lot more moss on her before she tries it... Maybe under Hunter as VP slot again... Let her learn from an actual Conservative instead of an idiot...
Hunter/Palin would be a killer ticket.

Again, whatever "IT" is, Sarah has it, and Hunter doesn't.Here we go with "electablity" again... After all, it has worked out so well for McCain, and Romney... and Huckabee, and Giuliani... and Thompson...
You would think folks would learn after while. Whatever "it" is, is a flash in the pan. It doesn't last. Principles do. Records do. Character does.
