Monday, October 20th Gates Open: 3:00 p.m. Program Begins: 6:00 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required; however an RSVP is strongly encouraged.
For security reasons, do not bring bags and umbrellas. Please limit personal items. No signs or banners permitted.

Yes they will, but it would still be funny to see garbage cans filled with plungers. Plungers are pretty cheap.

A few bucks invested to create a great cell phone Photo Op of the full cans with a caption like "Dangerous weapons seized by Obama's security!" They'd look even more foolish than they do now.
